Kennedy’s endorsement proved vital in the 2024 election, which saw a block of disaffected anti-establishment independents and Democrats vote for Donald Trump.
Kennedy built his following across the political spectrum because of his stand against Big Pharma and the public health establishment’s power grabs during COVID to restrict liberty through lockdowns, school closures, mask as well as vaccine mandates.
Democrats, the media and some RINOs have taken the position that the Senate gets to pick Donald Trump’s cabinet.

But Senate Republicans understand that the reality is the American people elect the President and expect him to have the team he wants in place.
After the hearing, Kennedy stood a strong chance of winning confirmation.

Behar complained about RINO Senator Thom Tillis – who voted for Trump nominees like Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.
“Hegseth, the guy the last guy was questioned by Sen. Thom Tillis. He said that his sister in law was convinced — they told her to come forward and talk about the abuse that he created, you can back me up on this, and he really nailed Hegseth on the topic of abuse and women, and he still voted for him. So it doesn’t matter,” Behar ranted.
Behar whined that Republicans weren’t man enough to vote down Trump nominees like Hegseth and Kennedy.
“We’re in a very bad situation in this country right now where there’s nobody in Congress that I’m watching who has the, how should I put this, the testicularity required of the job and I’m frightened by it, frankly. I see this every day, all these people capitulating to Trump and his dictatorial needs. And it’s just very, very bad, I think,” Behar added.
Behar then suggested replacing male Republican Senators with women like RINOs like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski – both of whom voted against Hegseth.
“Maybe we should change the testicular fortitude to a female alternative because the two Republicans who have opposed Trump nominations so far have been Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins,” Behar concluded.
Collins and Murkowski are likely set to vote against all of Trump’s drain the swamp nominees like Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, and Kash Patel.
It’s no wonder leftists like Joy Behar want more RINOs in the Senate like Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins.
