Donald Trump didn’t have long to enjoy his resounding victory in the 2024 election.
That’s because one of his old nemesis reared their ugly heads.
And New York Attorney General Letitia James hit Donald Trump with this seriously bad news.
Letitia James promises new lawfare
Letitia James campaigned for New York Attorney General in 2018 on a promise to weaponize her office to hound Trump.
James made good on the campaign pledge by suing Donald Trump in a civil fraud suit where no one got defrauded.
The Democrat Judge in the case awarded James a $464 million judgment
Fortunately, the New York Court of Appeals realized the can of worms James opened by claiming she could seize all of Trump’s money despite him not committing any wrongdoing and sounded like they wanted to throw the judgment out during Trump’s appeals hearing.
James didn’t appear to get the message.
Hours after the media called the 2024 election for Donald Trump James went before the press to declare a new round of lawfare aimed at the President-elect.
“We have been working both in my office and with other Democratic AGs across this country to make sure that we would be ready to respond to any attempt to roll back our rights. So here we are. We studied their platforms. We’ve identified certain possibilities, fact patterns. We’ve created contingency plans,” James stated.
“So no matter what the next administration throws at us. We’re ready. We’re ready to respond to their attacks. We’re ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York, as the governor outlined,” James added.
James claimed she was prepared to sue the courts to enforce her woke agenda.
“So just so despite what has happened on the national stage, we will continue to stand tall in the face of injustice, revenge, or retribution. We will continue to protect our most vulnerable and marginalized among us,” James continued.
James was elected to enforce the law and uphold the Constitution.
But James thinks her job is to fight Donald Trump.
“Because it is my sworn duty and responsibility to lead that fight. Working with the governor of this great state, Kathy Hochul. This is not the time to be fearful, New York. But faithful and steadfast. Knowing that I, as the attorney general, along with my entire team, we are guardians of the law. And we are prepared, my friends, to fight back,” James concluded.
Every time a Democrat prosecutor bought a case against Donald Trump during the 2024 election cycle Trump’s numbers went up.
Some political pundits will even admit the four people most responsible for re-electing Donald Trump were James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis and Jack Smith.
James apparently didn’t catch that lesson and plans to spend the next four years as a dead end resistor.
