What Donald Trump admitted to Joe Rogan will leave you speechless
Donald Trump’s appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast set the internet on fire.
Americans saw him like never before.
And what Donald Trump admitted to Joe Rogan will leave you speechless.
Donald Trump admits his life is at risk every time he campaigns
Former President Donald Trump was in a reflective mood in his three-hour interview with comedian Joe Rogan, the host of the most popular podcast in America.
At one point in the interview Rogan paid respect to Trump’s comedic timing bringing up the “because you’d be in jail” line he delivered in a 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton when she warned that Americans should panic over the idea of him taking control of the Justice Department.
“It’s funny. It’s stand-up. It’s funny stuff,” Rogan told Trump. “You have, like, comedic instincts. Like when you said to Hillary, ‘You’d be in jail.’ Like, that’s great timing. But it’s like that kind of stuff was unheard of as a politician. Like, no one had done that.”
Trump is a natural showman who was a reality TV star for a reason.
The ability to crack a joke is a big reason why so many Americans viewed him as a breath of fresh air upon entering the political scene.
And Trump explained that to be successful in politics you needed a sense of humor and a comedian’s mindset if you were going to succeed in this world.
“You know, it’s funny,” Trump told Rogan in response.
“You need at least the attitude of a comedian when you’re doing this business. This a dangerous business, first of all. It’s a very tough business,” Trump added.
Trump and Rogan get serious
Rogan agreed with Trump on how dangerous politics is.
Trump got shot in the head once already and had a second assassination plot foiled.
Rogan remarked how the media moved on from the attempts on Trump’s life as quickly as possible out of fear it would help him politically.
“It’s the most dangerous business,” Rogan replied. “I mean, other than going to war, and being a firefighter or being a cop, yeah, it’s the most dangerous… especially you! I mean, you haven’t even got to the election. There’s been two assassination attempts, and they’ve brushed those out of the news like it was nothing.”
“Yeah, they would rather not talk about them,” Trump agreed.
Rogan said the media would take a totally different stance if a Trump supporter took a shot at President Joe Biden.
“Imagine if there [were] assassination attempts on Biden, how hard people would be attacking the Right,” Rogan continued. “They would be trying to get guns taken away from people, they would try to ramp up gun laws, they would try to figure out some way to blame you… If Biden got shot in the ear, we would have never heard the end of it.”
If Trump supporters tried to kill Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris the media would be calling for Trump supporters to be rounded up, arrested, and have all their guns taken away.
