A NASCAR driver just made this shocking confession about endorsing Donald Trump
Donald Trump is polling better than either of his two previous Presidential campaigns.
The Trump coalition is growing.
And a NASCAR driver just made this shocking confession about endorsing Donald Trump.
NASCAR Driver Danica Patrick endorses Donald Trump
Danica Patrick was a pioneer in both the Indycar and NASCAR scenes.
She became the first woman to win an Indy Car race as well as take a pole position in NASCAR.
Now Patrick is joining the Trump train.
She hosted a town hall event in the key battleground state of North Carolina with former President Donald Trump’s running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).
At the event, Patrick – who is 42 – revealed she never voted before.
But Patrick realized she needed to get off the sidelines this time and cast a ballot.
“I just want to say I’ve never voted before, but this time around, I have to vote,” Patrick stated. “It’s that important.”
Vance chimed in by saying he hoped Patrick meant that she was voting for “the good guys.”
“I just want to be clear, I want to get on record — you’re voting for us, right?” Vance asked.
Patrick then endorsed Trump.
“1,000%,” Patrick replied saying she wished she “could vote twice.”
Vance jokingly told the crowd not to do that and Republicans believed in election integrity.
“We don’t do that, we’re Republicans,” Vance added. “We only vote, we vote legally, only one time.”
Patrick’s reasons for endorsing Donald Trump
Patrick admitted she was initially a supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy dropping out and endorsing Trump caused her to switch to him.
Patrick said Trump’s experience and business acumen sealed the deal for her.
“The person that runs this country should ultimately be running it very much like a business. I can’t really think of a better businessman than Donald Trump,” Patrick stated. “A guy like that who has been in business as long as he has, he’s gonna go into that room and he’s gonna get stuff done. That’s what we need, a President who is actually going to make changes happen.”
Patrick joined actor Zachary Levi as a former Kennedy supporter who suddenly became gettable for Trump once he dropped out.
Levi held anti-establishment views on challenging Big Pharma, Big Tech, and Big Media.
Like Levi, Patrick found Trump’s outsider status appealing telling the crowd “I think that Trump did a really good job of letting us know that there is such a thing as fake news.”
The 2024 Election is exceedingly close.
According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, every single one of the seven battleground states is within the margin of error.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump opened up the chance for the former President to bump up his support by another point or two.
And in a race with these kinds of margins, that could prove decisive.
