Kevin O’Leary blasts Bragg prosecution as un-American

Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary became the highest profile critic of Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James’ politically-motivated civil fraud lawsuit against former President Donald Trump as straight out of a communist country.

In an appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered, O’Leary explained how Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution was even more dangerous than James’ crock of a lawsuit.

O’Leary took great offense that a local prosecutor took aim at the former President of the United States using a convoluted legal theory to claim that a nondisclosure agreement – a perfectly legal and accepted business practice – was somehow part of a criminal act to influence the 2016 Election based on how he recorded the payment in his checkbook.

“We don’t do this in America,” O’Leary stated. “We don’t go after the office of the President with porn star cases. We give them a broad swath of latitude. If you’re an ex-President and you murdered somebody, I get it — or been accused of murder. But what is this? This hurts the American brand. I keep saying that.”

O’Leary says there is international outrage over this case

O’Leary told the Fox hosts how when he was traveling abroad last week people from all over the world couldn’t believe that a prosecutor was using the word of a porn star to try and put a former President in jail based on made-up crimes that never happened.

He also said this trial shouldn’t happen until after the election because it’s completely unfair for Trump’s political opponents to put him on trial on their home turf months before the vote.

“I was in Geneva last week. One hundred and fifty countries represented there. Everybody’s talking about the same [thing]: ‘What is this porn star thing?’ This is an American president. This is the United States of America’s highest office; and we’re doing this? This is sheer stupidity and I’ll tell you what should happen. This should be pushed until after he wins or doesn’t win. This should be not part of this election cycle at all; and this is not a Trump-loving comment. This is about the American brand where I bring capital from all around the world to invest here. We look like clowns! I hate this,” O’Leary said.

Deep down even the members of the media understand that Bragg’s case was only brought forth because of politics.

But they can’t say that out of allegiance to  President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.

Kevin O’Leary doesn’t owe Biden or the Democrats any loyalty so he’s free to speak to the truth.
