Joe Biden finally agrees to debate Donald Trump
Every four years, the American people expect to see the two Presidential candidates square off in multiple debates before the election takes place.
But President Joe Biden is suffering from senility that is growing worse by the day.
Former President Donald Trump started putting pressure on him to debate him back in March.
“It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!”
At first, Biden ignored Trump’s debate challenge.
But during an appearance in April on Howard Stern’s program, Biden said “I am happy to debate him.”
Trump responded by challenging him to debate him in front of the Manhattan courthouse on the same day, but the President refused to take him up on his offer.
However, Trump’s pressure finally got through to him.
And in a video posted to X, Biden agreed to two debates with Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020,” Biden said. “Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal.”
“I’ll even do it twice,” Biden said. “So, let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays.”

Not long after he posted the video, Biden followed up by informing the public that he “received and accepted an invitation from @CNN for a debate on June 27th.”
Trump and Biden are now set to square off in a debate hosted by CNN on June 27.
Why Joe Biden decided to debate
The fact that Biden agreed to debate shocked many Americans.
After all, he has trouble reading a sentence from a teleprompter without making an embarrassing mistake.
So why did Biden agree to debate Donald Trump, who is a master performer in front of the camera?
Fox News Channel’s Jesse Watters has a hunch as to why Biden agreed to debate Trump.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a debate,” Watters said. “Suddenly, out of the blue, Joe Biden says he’s ready to take on Trump.”
Watters pointed out Biden’s “list of demands” was “longer than a spending bill.”
He is talking about the list of demands from Biden, such as no audience at the debate, no Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and candidates must have their microphones turned off when not speaking.
“He says he’ll only do debates moderated by CNN, CBS, ABC or Telemundo,” Watters said. “And RFK Jr isn’t allowed on stage – can’t even be near the stage. And Biden says no audience. And Trump isn’t allowed to interrupt him. The candidate’s microphones will be turned off while the other candidates are talking.”
Watters then revealed why he believes Joe Biden accepted the debate.
And it’s because “he is getting clobbered.”
“Tactically, this was smart for Biden, but strategically it shows weakness,” Watters said. “Biden needed this to change the trajectory of the race because he is getting clobbered.”
Watters is referring to the string of recent polls that show Trump leading Biden both nationally and in the key swing states that will determine the election.
Despite facing unprecedented lawfare, Donald Trump is still ahead of Biden in the polls.
And Watters believes Biden accepted the debate out of desperation.
