Fox News host Greg Gutfeld had some news he wanted to break.

He was one of the many Americans appalled by the multiple assassination attempts against Donald Trump.

And Greg Gutfeld let the cat out of the bag on who was to blame for the Trump assassination attempt.

Gutfeld slams the media for its role in stoking hatred against Trump

Former President Donald Trump survived a second assassination attempt when a gunman tried to kill him at his Florida golf club.

America went 43 years between assassination attempts against Presidents.

Now there have been two in two months.

Both were against Donald Trump.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld doesn’t think this was an accident.

When Gutfeld interviewed Trump for his Fox News show, he asked the former President about how the media continues to blame him for Democrats trying to kill him.

The Atlantic’s David Frum offered an especially disgraceful attempt to victim-blame Trump.

“Trump and his running mate have spent the past week successfully inciting violence in Springfield, Ohio. Today they want to present themselves as near-victims of violence – in this case, of violence completely unrelated to themselves and at a very safe distance from themselves,” Frum wrote on X.

Gutfeld asked Trump if he could ever understand why the media doesn’t see how constantly calling him Hitler, a fascist, and a threat to democracy inspires this madness.

“It’s interesting to see the response to this second attempt. Every time you’re under a bigger threat, the media still blames you even more. It’s almost as if they don’t see their own role in this,” Gutfeld began.

“Have you just basically accepted this is a fact?” Gutfeld added.

Trump slams the media

Trump said he’s come to accept a certain level of media bias and hatred.

In response to Gutfeld, Trump said the media would just lie about him no matter what and cited the coverage of his debate performance against Vice President Kamala Harris as an example of the type of biased coverage he can expect.

“I think so, yeah. The media is extremely dishonest, extremely corrupt, actually. Look at the debate. I walked off, I said: ‘That’s it.’ You know, they said, I’m the G.O.A.T. in debates because I had a lot of debates and I became President and the G.O.A.T. means Greatest Of All Time. And I walked off that stage and I thought I had the best debate and I was very unfairly treated by the anchor. I’m not a fan of those guys anymore,” Trump told Gutfeld.

The press hates Donald Trump.

But this goes beyond the normal hatred members of the media have for him.

Greg Gutfeld – as well as many other Trump supporters – think the media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome could get him killed.
