The American Left is an authoritarian movement that demands 100 percent compliance 100 percent of the time.

Any deviation results in angry protests and boycotts.

And now the woke outrage mob has lost their minds over this Presidential endorsement announcement.

Washington Post’s refusal to endorse Kamala Harris enrages the Left

The Washington Post is one of the poster children for left-wing media bias.

From the front page to the sports page, the paper wages daily war on conservatives.

But the consistent information warfare on behalf of the Democrat Party’s political goals wasn’t enough for the Left.

The paper’s refusal to endorse a Presidential candidate for the first time since 1960 led to nearly ten percent of the paper’s subscriber base canceling in protest.

“The Post began experiencing a huge spike in the number of subscribers looking to cancel online starting Friday in the wake of the announcement by CEO and publisher William Lewis, according to documents and two people familiar with the figures who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to comment publicly. By Tuesday, the number reached 250,000, the documents indicate,” the Post reported.

Democrats think there is no such thing as a neutral institution.

An institution either works for the Left or the Left will burn it to the ground.

Leftists get a reality check about media bias

Washington Post owner and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos responded to the uproar with an op-ed published in the Post.

Bezos argued that it was time for the media to get its collective head out of the sand and deal with the reality that polls show the media is less trusted than ever and it was all because the public viewed members of the press as pro-Democrat partisans.

“We must be accurate, and we must be believed to be accurate. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but we are failing on the second requirement. Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn’t see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose,” Bezos wrote.

“Reality is an undefeated champion. It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility,” Bezos added.

Bezos said endorsements are just ideological virtue signaling as a paper picking a candidate never moved one vote.

Instead, he explained that endorsements just fueled the perception that the paper was biased in favor of the Democrat Party.

“Presidential endorsements do nothing to tip the scales of an election. No undecided voters in Pennsylvania are going to say, ‘I’m going with Newspaper A’s endorsement.’ None. What presidential endorsements actually do is create a perception of bias. A perception of non-independence. Ending them is a principled decision, and it’s the right one,” Bezos continued.

Democrats don’t think the job of the media is to inform the public.

Democrats think the job of the media is to help elect Democrats.
