Peter Doocy challenged Karoline Leavitt in this shocking public confrontation

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy hammered press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Doocy didn’t pull any punches.
And Peter Doocy challenged Karoline Leavitt in this shocking public confrontation.
Peter Doocy works for Fox News, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch who is one of the biggest supporters of the endless war in Ukraine.
Murdoch’s outlets – the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post , and some corners of Fox News – sniped at Trump over the Oval Office blow up where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attacked Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance about American support for the war in Ukraine.
Besides Zelensky’s arrogant behavior, many in the White House and larger conservative movement were furious that Zelensky would disrespect the Oval Office by showing up dressed like a slob in his pretend military uniform.
Axios reported that “one small but not insignificant factor that irritated Trump was the fact that Zelensky didn’t wear a suit.”
The level of frustration with Zelensky defying the White House’s request to wear a suit even boiled up to President Trump.
“Trump’s advisers told Zelensky’s team on multiple occasions that it would be more respectful for Zelensky to ditch his military-style attire when visiting the White House. Zelensky arrived at the White House wearing a more formal black outfit with Ukraine’s national symbol, but without a suit,” Axios added.
Doocy tried to turn the whole situation around and make it out like the Trump administration was a group of hypocrites for getting offended about Zelensky not wearing a suit when Elon Musk appeared in the Oval office wearing a t shirt.
“We know that some officials here were mad that Zelensky showed up last week without a suit for his meeting in the Oval Office. But Elon Musk never wears a suit,” Doocy asked.
“He did last night,” Leavitt replied, noting that Musk wore a suit when he sat in the gallery for President Trump’s joint address to Congress.
“So what is the dress code?” Doocy shot back.
“Well, Elon Musk wore a suit last night,” Leavitt answered. “I’m sure you saw it. It looked…”
Doocy wouldn’t let the point go.
“Was he spooked by Zelensky getting kicked out?” Doocy asked.
Leavitt was clearly exasperated by this ridiculous line of questioning and shut it down.
“No, I don’t think so. I’m just pointing out that he did wear a suit last night. And I think the president liked that very much — and he looked great,” Leavitt answered.
Zelensky isn’t just a foreign head of state.
Zelensky was showing up in the Oval Office as a beggar to plead with President Trump to support his country’s war effort with a security guarantee – i.e. a commitment from the United States to go to war with Russia – that President Trump already rejected.
The Oval Office represents the institution of the Presidency so Zelensky disrespected both the occupant of the room and the room itself by thinking he was so much of a big shot that could reject a request to wear a suit.
