Pam Bondi released the Epstein files and all hell broke loose

This was the day many Americans were waiting for.
But it didn’t turn out like anyone hoped.
And Pam Bondi released the Epstein files and then all hell broke loose.
Attorney General Pam Bondi promised Americans that she would release the Epstein files.
Bondi told Fox News the files were sitting on her desk.
“It is sitting on my desk right now to review. That has been a directive by President Trump, and I am reviewing that. I’m reviewing the JFK files and the MLK files. That is all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the president from all these agencies,” Bondi told host John Roberts.
But the Epstein files release blew up in Bondi’s face as what she made public was 200 pages of flight logs that had been public for more than a decade, as well as pages of redacted material.

Americans were furious, feeling like they got played.
“I don’t want a binder. I want morons on the right to wake up and admit that files of this nature needed to be released in an open source portal with full transparency. The fake release has now been tarnished by deception, redactions of previously unredacted files previously released in 2015 and 2021, and a wildly inappropriate partisan spin,” Trump supporter Laura Loomer wrote on X.
The target of the wrath was Bondi.
President Trump tasked her with releasing the Epstein files as well as the documents pertaining to the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.
Bondi – who was Attorney General in Florida when Epstein received a sweetheart no prosecution deal from the federal government – looked like she was playing bait and switch.
Appearing on Fox News, Bondi blamed the botched release of the Epstein documents on the FBI claiming the field office in New York concealed all the Epstein files from her.
“We released about 120 pages of documents. And I started asking for these documents right when I came into office and before Kash Patel was in there. I ended up getting about 120 pages. We carefully redacted them, of course, to be sure that the personal information of the 254 young girls and women who are victims of sex crimes and sex trafficking was redacted to protect them,” Bondi stated.
Bondi sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel telling him the FBI must turn over every last Epstein document by 8AM the following morning.
“I kept saying there has to be more. I get assured that’s it. Kash asks the same questions and gets assured there’s no more. This week, a source told me the Southern District of New York is sitting on thousands of pages of documents regarding Epstein. You’ve seen the very strong letter [I sent to FBI Director Kash Patel],” Bondi added.
Bondi promised the American people that she would make public the entirety of the Epstein files.
“We will get everything. We will redact it, of course, to protect grand jury information and confidential witnesses. But the American people have a right to know. And Donald Trump is the most transparent president in our nation’s history. So not only will America get the full Epstein files, they will get JFK, they will get Martin Luther King,” Bondi concluded.
But after the debacle that “phase one” of the Epstein file release turned out to be, conservatives will take the “trust but verify” attitude towards Bondi.
