Mitch McConnell says Democrats will destroy the Senate

RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has been a thorn in former President Donald Trump’s side throughout his entire time in politics.

But he’s singing a different tune now that Vice President Kamala Harris is at the top of the Democrat ticket.

McConnell recently delivered the keynote address to lawmakers at the National Conference of State Legislatures Legislative Summit in Louisville, Kentucky.

And in a surprising move, McConnell didn’t spend his time criticizing Trump and his supporters.

Instead, he warned Americans of the triple threat facing the country if Kamala Harris wins the White House in November.

“Let’s assume our worst nightmare—the Democrats went to the White House, the House, the Senate,” McConnell began.  

He then listed out three terrifying moves Democrats would make once in control of the entire federal government.

“The first thing they’ll do is get rid of the [Senate] filibuster,” McConnell said.

Under the current rules, the Senate requires a 60-vote majority to break a filibuster on most pieces of legislation.

Since the filibuster has blocked the most far-left bills from passing the Senate, Democrats are hell-bent on eliminating it as soon as they have the votes.

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has already vowed to eliminate the filibuster in order to codify abortion on demand into federal law.

Without a filibuster, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) would be free to ram through the Left’s entire wish list.

But that’s just one of the three threats facing Americans if Democrats take over the federal government.

Get ready for two new states

McConnell said the second threat is that “you’ll have two new states – D.C., Puerto Rico – that’s four new Democratic senators in perpetuity.”

Statehood for Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico would mean four far-left Senators who would give Democrats permanent control over the Upper Chamber.

Finally, he sounded the alarm on the Democrats’ war on the Supreme Court.

“If they get those two new states and pack the Supreme Court, they’ll get what they want,” McConnell said. “By the way, on packing the Supreme Court, you may know this already – it’s unconstitutional.”

Of course, the Supreme Court is the final line of defense against Democrat tyranny.

If Democrats pack the court, it will be the end of freedom in America as we know it.

Mitch McConnell is the longest-serving Senate Leader in American history.  

Even though he has been an enemy to conservatives, there’s no denying the fact that McConnell is as politically sharp and savvy as they get.
