Vice President Kamala Harris does very few interviews.
The only news she makes from these sit-downs is of the negative variety as her rambling and incomprehensible answers sound like a Saturday Night Live skit parodying an in-over-the-head politician trying to sound like a statesman.
Trump campaign surrogate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. mocked the Kamala line “I was born in the middle class” as a crutch for when she couldn’t think of anything to say when asked in interviews how she would make life better for the American people if she got elected President.
Kennedy initiated a call and response with the crowd at a Trump event to ridicule the absurdity of Kamala’s answer.
“All you have to know is seven words, and you never have to admit to doing anything wrong again,” Kennedy told the attendees. “And you know what those seven words are? ‘I was born in the middle class.'”
“The next time your boss asks you why you were late for work, what are you gonna say?” Kennedy asked the audience.
“I was born in the middle class!” the Trump supporters shouted back.
“And the next time your wife asks you why you didn’t take out the garbage, what are you gonna say?” Kennedy asked a second time.
“I was born in the middle class!” the crowd yelled back.
“That’s all you have to know and you don’t have to answer any questions!” Kennedy snarked after the crowd finished playing along.
Kamala Harris becomes a meme
Kamala Harris’ line about being born in the middle class turned into a joke after an interview she did with an ABC affiliate in Philadelphia.
The local reporter asked Kamala if she had a plan to combat the inflation that the socialist spending she rammed through the Senate sparked.
Her response revolved around her upbringing.
“Well, I’ll start with this. I grew up a middle-class kid,” Kamala began.
Kamala then claimed the fact that she grew up in a neighborhood where lawn care was a top priority for homeowners qualified her to wrestle inflation under control.
“I grew up in a community of hard-working people, you know, construction workers and nurses and teachers. And I try to explain to some people who may not have had the same experience. You know, a lot of people will relate to this,” Kamala added.
There is also some doubt about her claim that she grew up middle class.
She and her campaign produced no evidence she actually worked at McDonald’s as a teenager as she claimed.
And Kamala’s parents worked as a biomedical scientist at the University of California Berkley and an economics professor who eventually earned the title of professor emeritus at Stanford University.
She falls back on her claims of a middle-class bio because she wants to run on vibes where voters think they can trust her because of who she is because if she had to run on her record, she would be in big trouble.
