Kamala Harris’ campaign is entering turbulent skies.

It’s the first time since she got into the race that she’s faced a negative news cycle.

And Kamala Harris just confirmed one really bad story is 100 percent fact.

Kamala Harris accepts CNN town hall

Former President Donald Trump rejected offers by CNN and Fox News for another Presidential debate.

Trump said that he won the first two debates – on June 27 with President Joe Biden and on September 10 with Vice President Kamala Harris – and was leading in the polls and thus there was no need for him to debate again.

CNN responded by extending an invitation to both candidates for a town hall event on October 23, the day of the debate.

“We continue to believe the American people would benefit from hearing more from the two major candidates for President of the United States and so CNN has extended invitations to both Vice President Harris and President Trump’s campaigns to participate in separate CNN Town Halls on October 23,” a CNN statement read.

Kamala campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon immediately accepted the invitation knowing the last time CNN interviewed her, superfan Dana Bash conducted the interview and there were no hard questions.

“Donald Trump’s refusal to join Vice President Harris on the debate stage again is a disservice to the American people,” O’Malley Dillon’s statement read.

O’Malley Dillon then tried to use the town hall to attack Trump for ‘hiding’ from the voters.

“They deserve to see the candidates side-by-side one more time before casting their ballots for one last look at their vastly different visions for America,” O’Malley Dillon added.

“Trump may want to hide from the voters, but Vice President Harris welcomes the opportunity to share her vision for a New Way Forward for the country. She is happy to accept CNN’s invitation for a live, televised town hall on October 23 in Pennsylvania,” O’Malley Dillon concluded.

Kamala’s changing media strategy confirms internal polling story

Journalist Mark Halperin reported that internal polling from both Democrats and Republicans shows Kamala Harris falling behind in the battleground states.

Election forecaster Nate Silver claimed Halperin was talking out of his rear end.

Halperin responded on social media by challenging him to speak to Democrat Senate pollsters whose numbers show Kamala stalling out in the battleground states.

“Pollsters, for instance, working for Democratic Senate candidates are not spinning or lying when they tell some journalists what’s happening with the presidential race,” Halperin wrote.

“I’m relying on pollsters of BOTH parties whose skill and reputations have been proven over many cycles. These are professionals in BOTH parties who I’m sure you respect. Ask, for instance, those polling for Democratic Senate candidates where their data has the presidential race,” Halperin added.

The fact that Kamala Harris’ campaign is begging for another debate and jumping at the chance to do any media possible – even though she bombs in these situations – leads many to believe that her campaign’s numbers match the reporting from Mark Halperin.
