But she picked the wrong time to commit a potentially campaign-changing gaffe.

Kamala Harris’ continued indifference to the survivors of Hurricane Helene

While Hurricane Helene decimated the Southeastern United States, Vice President Kamala Harris palled around with celebrities at a fundraiser in San Francisco.

She waited five days to visit the storm-ravaged areas but she did find the time to record an interview for a podcast focused on young women’s sex lives.

While Kamala took her time responding to the plight of Americans dying in North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia, she sprang into action to make sure Hezbollah supporters in Michigan knew she was on their side.

Americans in North Carolina who lost everything – their homes, their businesses, and in some tragic cases their loved ones – get scraps in the form of a $750 check.

But Kamala made Hezbollah supporting Arab voters in the key battleground of Michigan aware of the fact that the Biden- Harris administration raced to ship $157 million in taxpayer money to Lebanon after Israeli strikes wiped out Hezbollah leadership.

“The people of Lebanon are facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation. I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of all civilians there,” Kamala wrote on X.

“To that end, the United States will provide nearly $157 million in additional assistance to the people of Lebanon for essential needs such as food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced by the recent conflict. This additional support brings total U.S. assistance to Lebanon over the last year to over $385 million,” Kamala added.

The administration also posted videos bragging about how much U.S. taxpayer money and relief flowed in Ukraine.

The Biden-Harris administration also used $1 billion in taxpayer money to put up illegal aliens in luxury housing.

Americans in North Carolina left on their own

To the Biden-Harris administration, Islamic terrorists, Ukrainians, and illegal aliens all took priority over American citizens.

The survivors in North Carolina had to get by on their own as reports came in of areas ravaged by the hurricane that the administration abandoned.

A friend from North Carolina with many friends in the disaster zones describes things this way: “Pure abandonment”

She says a week in people have “zero support” from the government, no urgency and that private individuals trying to deliver supplies are being turned away.

The media and the Democrat Party tried to claim any criticism of the federal response was misinformation and unpatriotic because the country is supposed to come together after a disaster.

These same Democrats and media members pilloried former President George W. Bush about the response to Hurricane Katrina even though the worst aspects of the disaster were the fault of New Orleans’s Democrat Mayor and Governor.

There were no plans for unity and patriotism in the wake of Katrina.

Democrats and the media smelled an opportunity to destroy Bush’s Presidency and they jumped at the chance.
