John Fetterman is in the middle of a Democrat Party civil war.

He may have finally found the straw that broke the camel’s back.

And John Fetterman found out his career ended because of this betrayal.

James Carville wants revenge against John Fetterman

On his Policy War Room podcast, James Carville – who served as chief strategist for Bill Clinton’s 1992 Presidential campaign – vented his frustration about U.S Senator John Fetterman (D-PA).

Carville slammed Fetterman as one of the “great backstabbers” in politics and promised to get his revenge to drive him out of politics following the election.

“But I’m going to wait ’til after the election to deal with him. But he’s somebody that must be dealt with, and must be dealt with in real terms,” Carville declared.

Carville and Fetterman were on opposite sides of the fight over pushing President Joe Biden out of the race.

Fetterman stood by Biden and slammed Carville as a relic from the past.

“My man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president,” Fetterman said of the beef between him and Carville.

But the Biden saga was water under the bridge.

Carville was furious with Fetterman for other reasons.

Carville livid over Fetterman tanking Josh Shapiro as Kamala Harris’ running mate

The source of Carville’s rage traces back to Fetterman working behind the scenes to kill any chance Vice President Kamala Harris would pick Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate.

“Fetterman’s advisers suggested to Harris’ team that the senator believes that Shapiro is excessively focused on his own personal ambitions. His reservations about Shapiro reflect a long-running rivalry between the two ambitious Democrats, who have risen on parallel tracks in a politically crucial state,” POLITICO exclusively reported.

Shapiro and Fetterman served on the state’s parole board together.

“Fetterman sought to revitalize the institution and provide second chances to some convicts. Shapiro often took a less lenient position, arguing that he believed in criminal justice reform but that the commutations process was not the place for ‘structural’ changes. Fetterman and Shapiro clashed in particular over the fate of Lee and Dennis Horton, brothers who had been convicted in a fatal shooting and robbery in 1993 but maintained their innocence for decades,” POLITICO continued.

Carville was among the Democrat Party strategists who wanted Shapiro on the ticket thinking it would cinch Pennsylvania’s 19 Electoral College votes for Vice President Kamala Harris and block former President Donald Trump from winning the Presidency.

Carville thought Fetterman road Shapiro’s coattails to victory in 2022 and should have been more grateful.

“And, of course, the reason he’s in the United States Senate is because of Shapiro. If you look at the Pennsylvania election returns, 2022, and you’ll get the idea of how Josh dragged this guy across the finish line,” Carville ranted.

Harris ended up picking the unimpressive Minnesota Governor Tim Walz who is now embroiled in a stolen valor scandal.

If Harris loses Pennsylvania – and as a result the election – Democrats will blame Fetterman for convincing her not to put Josh Shapiro on the ticket.
