When Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama orchestrated a coup to force Joe Biden out of the 2024 Presidential Election, Jill Biden was the most strident voice pushing her husband to remain the Democrat nominee for President.
Jill Biden liked living in the White House, flying on Air Force One and – as many critics maintained – effectively serving as President since Joe Biden was mentally incapable of carrying out his duties.
The former First Lady went kicking and screaming before Joe Biden tapped out and quit the race on July 21, 2024.
Kamala Harris then lost to Donald Trump in humiliating fashion as the American people rejected the Biden record of open borders, sky high inflation and chaos abroad in decisive fashion.
Joe Biden slinked out of the White House with Real Clear Politics showing just 39 percent of Americans holding a favorable view of his Presidency.
But Jill Biden wants back in the political game.
And she is reportedly pushing Joe Biden to insert himself into the 2026 election cycle.
Joe Biden is making noises about a comeback.
“Former President Joe Biden has told some Democratic leaders he’ll raise funds, campaign and do anything else necessary for Democrats to recover lost ground as the Trump administration rolls back programs the party helped design, according to people close to him,” an exclusive NBC News report read.
The Democrat Party is leaderless at the moment and Biden met with top party officials to offer himself up to fill the void.
“Biden privately met last month with the new Democratic National Committee chairman, Ken Martin, and offered to help as the party struggles to regain its viability amid polling that shows its popularity has been sinking, the people said,” the NBC report went on to say.
Jill Biden is reportedly the driving force behind her husband’s attempted comeback.
“She recognizes that serving in the capacities that she served is an honor and it comes with responsibilities to the party. And she’s prepared to help in any way she can,” a source familiar with Jill Biden’s thinking said to NBC.
But just because Joe and Jill Biden want them back in doesn’t mean the feeling is mutual.
Joe Biden is a walking reminder of everything voters hate about the Democrat Party.
And the last thing Democrats want heading into the midterms is Joe Biden front and center on the campaign trail.
“Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?” a top Democrat donor told NBC News.
Joe Biden making public appearances for Democrats means the candidates he rallies and raises money for would then have to answer questions about Biden’s time in office, which would prevent them from communicating whatever message the party settles on to attack President Trump.
Republicans would be doing backflips over this idea.
