Joe Biden’s blanket pardon was the final act of the Biden crime family cover up.
Biden pardoned Hunter for crimes he may have committed dating back to 2014.
This period of time includes Hunter Biden’s business dealings in both Ukraine and Communist China.
Joe Biden pardoning Hunter Biden was more about keeping himself out of jail as this move closes off future investigations where prosecutors could use criminal charges to flip Hunter Biden against Joe Biden.
Since Hunter Biden’s conviction in June on charges he lied on a federal firearms background check form and subsequent guilty plea on tax crimes, Joe Biden swore up and down that he wouldn’t pardon Hunter Biden.
Biden showed he was lying to the American people the entire time when he issued the pardon.
Ever since Biden began running for President in 2019, the media held him out as an avatar of decency and a return to norms that Donald Trump smashed.
Biden pardoning Hunter Biden made fools out of the journalists that placed Biden on that pedestal.
CNN’s Manu Raj was especially irate and compared the Hunter Biden pardon to Bill Clinton pardoning Mark Rich 2001 calling them a stain on their legacies as President.
The Mark Rich pardon was widely viewed as the gold standard of Presidential pardon corruption as Rich donated over $1,000,000 to Clinton and it looked to everyone like he bought a get out of jail free card.
“That’s probably one reason why he did it. Now, Jeff [Zeleny] is absolutely right, though. This is a stain on his legacy. I mean, what Bill Clinton did in giving a pardon to Marc Rich, of course, the donor to the Clintons, right in the eye as he was leaving office. That’s also a stain on his legacy,” Raj stated.
Raj said the difference between pardons issued by Donald Trump and Joe Biden is that Joe Biden claimed he was different.
Biden declared that he respected the justice system and the outcome of Hunter Biden’s legal proceedings.
Raj said Biden exposing himself as a liar on a massive scale is an embarrassment to his administration that he will never recover from.
“What you mentioned, therefore, for Donald Trump, also undoubtedly a stain going forward. The bigger problem for Biden is just that they were decent. He was dishonest with the American public about whether he would give a pardon. They said pretty flatly right before the election when he was interviewed, when he was still in the race a couple of months out, that he would not give a party,” Raj added.
“He said that repeatedly. Karine Jean-Pierre said it repeatedly to the American public. So that is also not only giving it to his son. And, you know, pardons always look bad on a president particularly, but giving doing it for political favors or a family member. But what he said publicly, they were completely, they were not straight with the American public. And people remember that,” Raj concluded.
