Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton is back in the political arena.

Americans thought they were done with the Clintons after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Election.

And now Chelsea Clinton made one 2028 demand for Democrats that will doom them to defeat.

Democrats lost big in 2024 because their messaging consisted entirely of screaming about how Donald Trump was a fascist threat to democracy and that he would ban abortion.

Ever since the 2022 Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade, Democrats have scarcely been able to talk about much else other than trying to make every election in America a referendum on abortion-on-demand.

In 2024, Americans wanted to hear about plans to solve the border and inflation crisis.

The best the Democrat Party could do was promise to support abortion even after birth.

Chelsea Clinton attempted one of the most insane political messaging reboots ever in appearance at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

In a telling detail, Yahoo reported that last year’s abortion panel played to a packed room.

This year, the hall was only one third full for Clinton’s discussion with Nancy Northup, president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights and Elizabeth Monteleone, chief legal officer for Austin-based online dating platform Bumble Inc.

Instead of trying to moderate on abortion, Clinton, Monteleone and Northup made the absurd case that abortion is good for the economy.

Clinton claimed abortion “is not just about patient health and well-being, it is a matter of society, economic and fiscal health.”

The former First Daughter claimed it was “terrible” that states like Texas and her native Arkansas passed laws that protected human life.

“It’s terrible what’s happening to women in Arkansas,” Clinton ranted. “It’s terrible what’s happening in Texas. It’s terrible what’s happening in Idaho.” Then she turns it to, “Do you see what’s happening in America in the year of our Lord 2025?”

Clinton then called pro-life laws a “painfully American” problem and “one we think that everyone needs to bear witness to.”

Northup claimed that Democrats should double down on the failed message of 2022 and “have to have a rallying cry: ‘Remember Dobbs.‘”

Chelsea Clinton then laughably argued that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton – who is pro-life and was elected statewide by the voters in Texas – “do not represent the will of the people in the state.”

Monteleone argued that Democrats needed to make the case that aborting babies was good for the economy in an attempt to tie a fringe issue of great importance to Democrats to what American voters actually care about.

“We have to move from seeing this as a social issue into a business issue or an employee issue,” Monteleone claimed “… It is health care. That is something companies should be able to get behind because it is impacting your workforce.”

But simple common sense exposed the flaw in this argument.

If businesses need workers, then killing off future employees limits the pool.

Even under their demented argument, abortion-on-demand fails the test.
