Trump’s FBI director nominee named Hillary Clinton in a book on Deep State criminals

President Joe Biden’s sweeping blanket pardon for his son, Hunter Biden, had Washington, D.C. buzzing about who could be next. 

Democrats are terrified that President-elect Donald Trump’s new nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, could have the bureau go after criminals. 

Trump told Meet the Press host Kristen Welker in an interview that he wouldn’t order Patel to target his political opponents. 

Patel mentioned in his book Government Gangsters and called out Hillary Clinton for her role in creating the Russian collusion hoax. 

Welker asked him if he thought that his nominee for FBI director should investigate Hillary and Deep State figures he mentioned in the book.

Trump said Patel would do what he thought was right. 

“If they think that somebody was dishonest or crooked or a corrupt politician, I think he probably has an obligation to do it,” Trump said. 

Bill Clinton open to Hillary Clinton receiving a blanket pardon from Joe Biden 

Former President Bill Clinton was asked about the possibility of Hillary Clinton being a target of an FBI investigation, during an appearance on ABC’s The View. 

Co-host Sunny Hostin asked him if he thought that Biden should “preemptively pardon” anyone who could be prosecuted by the incoming Trump administration. 

“Do you think it would be wise of President Biden to preemptively pardon any potential targets? What about your wife, Hillary Clinton?” Hostin wondered. “She apparently is on Kash Patel’s list.”

Clinton claimed that his wife did everything by the book. 

“They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong,” Clinton claimed. “Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016? Trump’s State Department found that Hillary sent and received exactly zero classified emails on her personal device. It was a made-up phony story.”

Hillary broke the law with an illegal private email server to send classified information, and then obstructed the investigation into it. 

“So, you know, I guess if Kash Patel is determined to make one up, he could do it, but I think if President Biden wanted to talk to me about that, I will talk to him about it, but I don’t think I should be giving public advice on the pardon power,” Clinton said. 

Clinton is open to talking to Biden about a preemptive pardon for his wife. 

 “I think it’s too — it’s a very personal thing, but it is — I hope [Trump] won’t do that. Trump, you know, most of us get out of this world ahead of where we’d get if all we got was simple justice,” Clinton claimed. “And so it’s normally a fool’s ear and to spend a lot of time trying to get even.”

The Biden White House has discussed handing out preemptive pardons before the President leaves office in January. 

Bill Clinton is a little bit nervous if he wouldn’t dismiss the idea of a pardon.
