Democrats have no more use for Joe Biden.

The party would prefer if Americans just forgot he even existed.

And now a top Democrat threw Joe Biden under the bus in this humiliating fashion.

Democrats scramble to contain the fallout from Joe Biden’s garbage remark

President Joe Biden made himself the focus of the Democrat Party’s closing message when he went on a Voto Latino Zoom call and smeared Trump supporters as “garbage.”

“Just the other day, a speaker at his [Trump’s] rally called Puerto Rico ‘a floating island of garbage.’ The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden blurted out.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro did his best to play damage control in an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

“Governor, first off, just what’s your response to that comment from President Biden where it sounds like he’s calling Trump supporters they’re garbage?” Collins asked.

Shapiro started off by playing dumb but rebuked Biden by saying he would never insult any voter because they back a different candidate.

He then tried to make Biden insult Trump voters a story about former President Donald Trump.

“I had not heard that until now, Kaitlan, so I’m kind of giving you my fresh reaction to it. I would never insult the good people of Pennsylvania or any Americans even if they chose to support a candidate that I didn’t support. I think the real issue here is Donald Trump and his inability to simply say comments like that are wrong, to simply stand up for his fellow Americans,” Shapiro began.

“He is incapable of doing that. When he had the keys to the White House before, he didn’t do it, he separated people out, he divided people. He’s promised more of the same and that’s why I think he’s dangerous, and that’s why I’m working as hard as I can to support Kamala Harris and do everything we can to defeat Donald Trump again in Pennsylvania,” Shapiro added.

Biden goes under the bus

Collins asked Shapiro about the spin by the White House claiming Biden wasn’t talking about Trump supporters in general, but that there was an apostrophe in his use of “supporter’s” to refer to the comments made by a comedian telling a joke about Puerto Rico.

Shapiro didn’t seem to buy it and left Biden twisting in the wind by not offering any kind of defense for him.

“Well, I think President Biden will decide what he wants to say. It’s certainly not words that I would choose and I think it’s important that we remain focused on the contrast between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, and not attacking supporters of either candidate,” Shapiro concluded.

One of the signs of senility is an inability to control the filter through which someone speaks.

Biden calling Trump supporters garbage was him saying what he – and virtually every other Democrat thinks – about Americans who cast a ballot for Donald Trump.

The difference is Biden can no longer control what comes out of his mouth.
