Nicolle Wallace Branded Trump and Elon Musk Sociopaths but Zelensky of All People Blew Up Her Story

Nicolle Wallace told her MS NOW audience only sociopaths would slow down Ukraine's Starlink.

She aimed that insult at Donald Trump and Elon Musk based on a single anonymous report.

Within hours, Volodymyr Zelensky said the one thing that pulled the rug out from under her.

Wallace Aimed the Sociopath Line At Trump and Musk

Wallace was grilling Sen. Chris Coons on her show Deadline when she went nuclear.

She said that in normal times, nobody would consider "pulling down a shield that is protecting the lives of the civilian population of an American ally."

Then she asked what it says about America if Musk or White House officials wanted Ukraine left exposed to Russian missile strikes.

Coons could not confirm any of it either.

He told Wallace he had received no briefing suggesting Starlink coverage over Ukraine had actually changed.

Wallace never named the outlet behind her "recent reporting," she just waved at it and let the worst-case interpretation do the talking.

That is not journalism, that is a loaded accusation dressed up as a question.

Zelensky Said the Starlink Problem Was Already Fixed

Coons mentioned almost in passing that Zelensky had posted encouraging news.

Ukraine's military flagged problems with its Starshield terminals on October 14, and soldiers blamed botched missions on the outage.

The White House moved fast, telling Axios the following day it had nothing to do with it.

Reuters muddied the waters a few days later, floating unnamed sources who blamed the White House but could not name a single person who gave the supposed order.

Trump was asked directly and gave a flat answer.

"I don't know if it was anybody because it wasn't me," Trump said, and added that he did not think Musk was responsible either.

Zelensky struck a far calmer tone than Wallace, crediting Rubio by name for getting coverage largely restored.

MS NOW's Track Record of Jumping to the Worst Conclusion

This is the same host who told her viewers in 2018 that she once advised Jeb Bush to punch Trump in the face, adding, "You would have been a hero."

Her ratings have cratered since Trump won back the White House, and segments like this explain why.

Musk, for the record, has already shown he treats Starlink as a weapon of war that needs real judgment, not a toy.

Back in 2023, Musk refused to activate coverage near Crimea, citing American sanctions on Russia and the risk of turning his satellites into a trigger for a wider war.

That is the opposite of sociopathy, it is restraint from a man managing a system that can start or stop a shooting war with a flip of a switch.

It was Musk's company that rushed Starlink terminals into Ukraine within days of Russia's 2022 invasion, keeping hospitals, soldiers and power grids connected when Moscow tried to black the country out.

MS NOW is the same operation that used to run under the MSNBC name, and the rebrand did nothing to slow down the habit of accusing Trump allies first and checking the facts later.

Wallace did not wait for Zelensky, Rubio, or anyone else to confirm a single fact before reaching for the ugliest word in her vocabulary.
