Obama Has an Uncomfortable Connection to the Star Wars Actor the White House Just Called Sick for Good Reason

Someone in Hollywood just publicly wished the president dead.

The White House fired back hard – and what they revealed about Barack Obama has Democrats in full panic mode.

Obama has not said a single word.

White House Calls Hamill Sick Individual After Bluesky Post

The image left nothing to the imagination.

On May 6, Hamill posted a gravestone reading "DONALD J. TRUMP 1946–2024" to Bluesky – flowers laid around the body, two words across the bottom: "If Only."

He made sure no one missed the point.

"He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes," Hamill wrote.

The White House Rapid Response team moved immediately.

"Mark Hamill is one sick individual," the official statement read.

"These Radical Left lunatics just can't help themselves. This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President."

White House spokesman Davis Ingle went directly at Obama.

"Barack Hussein Obama just appeared in a video with this deranged lunatic three days ago," Ingle told Fox News Digital.

"Now this same person is calling for President Trump to die. Why won't Obama and Democrats condemn this disgusting call to violence?"

Hamill deleted the post Thursday afternoon and issued a partial apology – "Actually, I was wishing him the opposite of dead, but apologize if you found the image inappropriate" – which the White House did not treat as sufficient.

Obama has still not responded.

The Three Trump Assassination Attempts Democrats Refuse to Condemn

The White House said three assassination attempts in two years.

That is not rhetoric. It is the documented record.

July 13, 2024: A gunman climbed onto a rooftop at a Butler, Pennsylvania rally and opened fire on Trump.

One bullet grazed the president's ear.

Rally attendee Corey Comperatore was killed shielding his family.

September 15, 2024: A second man was arrested at Trump's golf club in Doral, Florida on charges of attempting to kill him.

April 2026: Cole Tomas Allen was charged with attempting to assassinate the president after opening fire at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Three attempts in less than two years.

Between the second and third, the left's rhetoric did not cool down.

It escalated.

Hollywood celebrities posted grave memes. Late-night hosts cracked jokes. Bluesky became the preferred platform for death-wishing the president, consequence-free.

Hamill's post did not appear in a vacuum.

The Question Obama Will Not Answer

Here is what separates this from another Hollywood tantrum.

Two days before Hamill posted the fake Trump grave, Barack Obama personally featured him in a Star Wars Day promotional video for the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

The two men toured the facility together – laughing, trading lines, playing to the camera.

Obama's team used Hamill's celebrity to generate goodwill for the library.

Then Hamill went home and posted a gravestone with flowers around the body of the sitting president.

The same Barack Obama who spent eight years telling America "when they go low, we go high" just handed a microphone to someone fantasizing about the president's death – and his silence is the loudest statement he has made in years.

This is the pattern.

Democrats spend years telling their base that Trump is a fascist, a dictator, a criminal, an existential threat to democracy itself – and then express genuine shock when someone in that base decides to act on what they were told.

Butler happened.

Doral happened.

The Correspondents' Dinner happened.

And Hamill's response, days after the latest attempt, was to post a grave.

Obama put Hamill in his library promo. He used his celebrity. He stayed silent when Hamill made the news for something other than Star Wars.

For Barack Obama, Mark Hamill is not a liability.

He is a donor base that does not need to be disciplined – just protected.
