Trump DOJ Just Fired the Prosecutors Who Sent a 75-Year-Old Grandmother to Prison for Praying

Merrick Garland's DOJ sent a 75-year-old grandmother to federal prison for two years – for kneeling and praying outside an abortion clinic.
Now the prosecutors who put her there just got fired.
And the 900-page report just revealed who was actually running those prosecutions – and it wasn't the Justice Department.
Planned Parenthood Was Running the Investigation
Trump's DOJ Weaponization Working Group just dropped the most detailed exposé of government corruption you've ever seen – and the core finding is this: Biden's Justice Department wasn't running its own investigations.
Planned Parenthood was.
Based on a review of over 700,000 internal records, the report reveals that lead prosecutor Sanjay Patel was on texting terms with the National Abortion Federation's security team and in regular communication with Planned Parenthood and the Feminist Majority Foundation.
Those groups weren't just providing tips. They were compiling full dossiers – photographs, home addresses, driver's license numbers, travel plans, names of spouses and children – on pro-life activists not yet charged with any crimes.
They handed those files directly to Patel.
He used them to build federal cases.
One dossier on evangelical activist Calvin Zastrow – a Michigan Christian who travels the country with his family doing pro-life ministry – arrived in May 2021, years before Zastrow faced any charges.
The National Abortion Federation flagged his Facebook posts.
The Biden DOJ tracked his movements.
Then they arrested him.
The Grandmother in Prison and the Man Whose House Got Raided
Two cases tell you everything about who Biden's DOJ was really targeting.
Paulette Harlow was 75 years old when she knelt and prayed outside a Washington D.C. abortion clinic in 2020.
She didn't hurt anyone.
A Clinton-appointed judge sentenced her to 24 months in federal prison.
Then there's Mark Houck – a Catholic father of seven from rural Pennsylvania who pushed an abortion clinic escort away from his young son after the man had been harassing the boy.
Local police declined to press charges.
Biden's DOJ sent 25 armed FBI agents to his house at dawn anyway – weapons drawn, in front of his wife and children.
The jury acquitted Houck after one hour of deliberation.
He just settled with the DOJ for over $1 million.
The Numbers That Prove It Was Political
The report doesn't rely on anecdotes.
The data is damning.
Of 55 criminal or civil FACE Act cases brought since 2001, 50 targeted pro-life defendants.
Biden's prosecutors sought an average sentence of 26.8 months for pro-life defendants – compared to 12.3 months for pro-abortion defendants.
Final sentences averaged 14 months on the pro-life side and 3 months on the pro-abortion side.
After the Dobbs leak in 2022, nearly 100 pregnancy centers were vandalized, firebombed, or destroyed, and 436 threats or acts of violence against churches were documented in 2023 alone.
Biden's DOJ brought exactly zero FACE Act prosecutions to protect a house of worship.
They brought only two cases defending pregnancy centers.
The Prosecutor Who Was Fundraising for Planned Parenthood While Jailing Christians
Sanjay Patel – the man who was texting Planned Parenthood, helping them raise grant money, and building criminal cases from their dossiers – was fired Monday along with three other prosecutors who ran Biden's FACE Act operation.
The report reveals that Patel served as a reference on the National Abortion Federation's application for a private grant while simultaneously prosecuting cases in which that organization was a party.
A supervisor told him to get ethics approval.
There is no record he ever did.
Pardoned pro-life activist Randall Terry identified Patel as the official who orchestrated the pre-dawn raid on Mark Houck's home.
Terrisa Bukovinac – prosecuted under Biden and later pardoned – said Patel attempted to have a Catholic nun held in contempt of court for praying the rosary in a courthouse hallway.
Trump pardoned 23 of these defendants in the first days of his second term.
Now the report makes clear the DOJ may refer current and former employees for criminal prosecution – including Patel.
The people who used the federal government as Planned Parenthood's personal enforcement arm are finally facing consequences.
