Democrats have long held out hope that Michelle Obama is their electoral savior.

But Michelle Obama has never shown any previous interest in running for office.

Now Michelle Obama threw the Democrat Party this 2026 election lifeline.

The 2024 election showed that the new media landscape overtook the traditional press.

Podcasters and YouTube steamers now reach mass audiences that dwarf newspapers, cable news networks and Big Three broadcast channels.

Kamala Harris’ handlers and the broader Democrat Party had no clue the terrain had shifted so dramatically right under their feet.

Democrats have been wondering who their Joe Rogan is and if they can stand up a podcast ecosystem to compete with the one on the Right.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is never going to run for office.

Obama made it clear repeatedly that she hates the campaign life and her refusal to entertain the idea of replacing Joe Biden after Biden dropped out of the race last July should snuff out any Democrat delusions that she had any White House aspirations.

But that doesn’t mean Michelle Obama is leaving the political space for good.

Michelle Obama is starting her own lifestyle podcast with her brother Craig Robinson called IMO – an abbreviation for “in my opinion.”

“The series, IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson, will see the former first lady and her sibling, who is the executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, and discuss thought-provoking questions about daily life with experts and well-known guests, including Issa Rae, Keke Palmer and Dr. Orna Guralnik,” the Hollywood Reporter wrote.

Michelle Obama said she and her brother launched this podcast to help people work through problems in life and to discuss current world events.

“With everything going on in the world, we’re all looking for answers and people to turn to,” a statement from Michelle Obama read.

“My brother Craig and I launched the IMOpodcast to create a space for people to come as they are, ask honest questions, give their opinions, and have thoughtful conversations about life. There is no single way to deal with the challenges we may be facing — whether it’s family, faith, or our personal relationships — but taking the time to open up and talk about these issues can provide hope,” the statement continued.

Michelle Obama started a podcast at the same time the Democrat Party has never been in more dire straits from a public perception standpoint.

A poll by the Democrat aligned firm Navigator Research found a gigantic 69 percent of voters said the Democrat Party was “too focused on being politically correct.”

51 percent called the Democrat Party elitist.

The Democrat Party needs a rebrand as Americans see it as a clique of arrogant woke scolds.

Michelle Obama’s podcast could be a vehicle to try and change perceptions of the Democrat Party.
