One bride left the groom at the altar for this jaw-dropping reason

Weddings are now reality TV fodder.
However, what Americans recently watched take place was ridiculous by any standard.
And the bride left the groom at the altar for this jaw-dropping reason.
Love is Blind is a reality show on Netflix that has now run for eight seasons and 96 episodes.
The show’s format sees an equal number of men and women “date” each other by living in pods where they can only communicate with each other through speakers since they are separated by walls and can’t see each other.
From there, the couples spend 30 days together on romantic getaways and in their hometowns.
In a recent episode, Sara Carton told partner Ben Mezzenga “I don’t” at the altar for their wedding.
Carton explained that she was ditching Mezzenga at the altar because he went to a church that didn’t support Black Lives Matter, homosexual marriage, or transgenderism.
“I love you so much, but I’ve always wanted a partner to be on the same wavelength,” Carton stated. “And so today, I can’t [marry you].”
Carton went on to tell Mezzenga that since he wasn’t in 100 percent agreement with her on woke ideology, she couldn’t marry him.
“My heart is there. But when we talked about a lot of the values that I hold so close to my heart, making this decision, my mind is telling me I can’t,” Carton added.

Mezzenga is a normal person who doesn’t spend every single moment of every single day obsessing over politics.
This disturbed Carton who was outraged Mezzenga didn’t have fully formed opinions when she played her game of political 20 questions.
“I remember I asked him about Black Lives Matter,” Carton added. “And I’m no expert. But when I asked him about it, he’s like, ‘I guess I never really thought too much about it.’ That affected me! … How could it not? How did it not make you think about something?”
The final straw for Carton was when she watched a sermon at Mezzenga’s church about gender identity where the priest expressed the biblical and scientific truth that there are only two genders.
“I asked him too what his Church’s views are, and he said he didn’t know. And so then I watched a sermon online… about sexual identity. And it was traditional. And I told that to Ben… and he doesn’t really have much to say about it. I want someone to think about that stuff,” Carton concluded.
The clip of Carton ditching Mezzenga at the altar went viral on social media.
But all the sympathy ended up with Mezzenga as everyone realized he avoided a lifetime of misery getting hectored by the poster child for woke Karens.
“Let’s find him a nice, conservative 20-something girl. He’ll look back and laugh at this,” Fox News host Laura Ingraham wrote.
“He really dodged a bullet here,” radio host Clay Travis posted on X.
