As wildfires ravage Los Angeles, many in the media are left wondering if they should either cover the fires or Governor Gavin Newsom’s butt.

And while there is plenty of failure and finger-pointing, actual accountability seems to be another casualty of these fires.

So, Ron DeSantis melted the media’s brain with just a few simple sentences.

California is facing catastrophic wildfires that have devastated large segments of Los Angeles.

Approximately 180,000 Californians have been forced to evacuate and at least 16 have lost their lives in the inferno.

The fires have already destroyed or damaged more than 12,000 structures, left over 50,000 residents without power, and are expected to cause economic losses of up to $150 billion, marking this as the most expensive wildfire in U.S. history.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, firefighters have only been able to contain a small portion of the blaze, raising fears that the destruction and losses will continue to grow.

Among those who have lost their homes are prominent figures such as Paris Hilton, actor Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, and singer Mandy Moore.

And as a result, now both ordinary citizens and Hollywood celebrities alike are either openly criticizing Governor Newsom or calling for him to be fired.

Democrat actress Sara Foster was one of the first to call for Governor Newsom to be sacked.

“I think all our tax dollars probably went to Gavin’s hair gel,” Actor Mel Gibson joked to Joe Rogan about where LA’s wildfire funds went.

Despite the literal public outcry against Governor Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass, the Fake News Media has been reluctant to pin the blame on the one man in charge of the state.

Perhaps, it’s because the media is singularly focused on the actual fires.

However, another more likely explanation is that they don’t want to attack a rising Democrat star and speculated 2028 presidential candidate.

On the other hand, the Fake News Media apparently has no problem ambushing President Trump or Republican governors.

As after a dinner with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, a wild journo appeared and allegedly questioned the gaggle of governors as to whether they thought it was appropriate for the president to criticize Gov. Newsom in the middle of the crisis.

Apparently the questions either angered or annoyed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis so much that he unloaded on the journalist.

Is it appropriate for people in your industry to try to create division and to try to create narratives any time these things happen? Now, you’re not as interested in doing that because Newsom is a D. If Newsom was a Republican, you guys would go try… you would have him nailed to the wall for what they’re doing over there.

DeSantis, who has been wrongly blamed by the media during natural disasters, justifiably continued dressing down the media member in defense of President Trump.

You should have been there preparing and doing that, and yet I don’t see a lot of heat being directed toward her (LA Mayor Karen Bass). I’d like to see some balance on how this is done. You can criticize the president-elect, but you also have to hold these other people accountable, and I have not seen that.

Governor DeSantis is absolutely correct in calling out the blatant double-standards most so-called journalists hold.

Right now, especially, the radical Left is leaderless and in the middle of a power struggle.

As a result, journalists don’t know who or what they’re allowed to think, speak, or write.

However, attacking President Trump and his allies is always fair ground and now that’s why the media is ramping up their attacks on the incoming Trump administration.
