The second assassination attempt against Donald Trump in the span of two months left Americans stunned.

But that reaction quickly turned to anger.

And a sheriff just asked this disturbing question about the Trump assassination attempt.

Was the Trump assassin part of a larger conspiracy?

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder’s officers were the ones who apprehended the would-be assassin who tried to murder former President Donald Trump at his Trump International golf club.

The would-be assassin had a Vice President Kamala Harris bumper sticker on his car, echoed her campaign slogan of “democracy is on the ballot,” and donated to the Democrat fundraising platform Act Blue 19 times.

The gunman camped out at the club for 12 hours waiting for Trump to play the fifth hole.

Trump’s golf outing was a last-minute addition to his schedule and wasn’t public knowledge.

Sheriff Snyder spoke to reporters following the arrest.

And he raised some uncomfortable questions about the assassination attempt.

Snyder told reporters that the assassin had no connection to the area.

That led Snyder to ask how he found his way to Trump’s golf club and set up a sniper’s nest so close to the 45th President of the United States.

“To my knowledge, he does not have any ties to Martin County. I think what we’re finding out is he is not from this area, which raises a bigger question. How does a guy from not here get all the way to Trump International, realize that the President, former President of the United States, is golfing, and is able to get a rifle in that vicinity?” Snyder began.

Snyder then said it was up to the Secret Service and the FBI to determine if the assassin was part of a conspiracy against Trump.

“I think that’s the question the FBI and Secret Service are laser-focused on today. Is this guy part of a conspiracy, or is he a lone gunman? If he is a lone gunman, President Trump is that much safer because we have him. But if he is part of a conspiracy, this whole thing really takes on a very ominous tone,” Snyder concluded.

Americans wondering what is going on

For the second time in two months, an assassin was able to bring a rifle within several hundred yards of Donald Trump.

Thankfully, unlike the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania – this gunman didn’t get any shots off.

But that doesn’t change the fact that the Biden-Harris administration continues to leave Donald Trump exposed to threats on his life due to a lack of security.

Kamala Harris isn’t treating Trump like a sitting President so he doesn’t have a complete security perimeter.

That lack of concern nearly proved fatal on two different occasions.

Now the question of the extent of this assassination plot and others about who was involved sits front and center.
