The legal system’s been weaponized to wage lawfare against Donald Trump.

But these attacks aren’t going unanswered.

And this judge went to war with Donald Trump and you won’t believe what happened next.

Anti-Trump judge faces ethics complaint

The American legal system functions as the envy of the world because the public believes judges to be fair arbiters who administer rulings and hand down sentences based on the law and the facts, not partisan politics.

That’s all being called into question now that Democrats co-opted the judicial system to serve as the firewall for President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

A low point for the judiciary came when D.C. District Court Reggie Walton – who’s still active and has overseen January 6 cases – appeared on Kaitlin Collins’ CNN show to unleash a partisan tirade attacking former President Donald Trump.

Walton attacked Trump after he pointed out that the judge’s daughter in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s criminal trial ran a Democrat Party consulting firm that raked in big money from doing work for Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Walton feeds the Left’s insurrection narrative

In his comments, Walton – in his capacity as a judge – lent credence to the Democrat Party’s lies about Trump inciting political violence through his words.

“Well, it’s very disconcerting to have someone making comments about a judge, and it’s particularly problematic when those comments are in the form of a threat, especially if they are directed at one’s family,” Walton stated.

“We do these jobs because we’re committed to the rule of law and we believe in the rule of law. The rule of law can only function effectively when we have judges who are prepared to carry out their duties without the threat of potential physical harm,” Walton added.

“But nonetheless, it is very troubling, because it is an attack on the rule of law when judges are threatened, and particularly, when their family is threatened. And it’s something that’s wrong and should not happen,” Walton added.

While Walton tried to paint himself as some noble and unbiased defender of the rule of law, his anti-Trump vitriol made that hard to believe.

He previously slimed Trump as a “charlatan,” claiming, “I don’t think he cares about democracy, only power.”

Walton hit with ethics complaint

Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, slapped Judge Walton with an ethics complaint addressed to Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.

“We are seeing a dangerous pattern in which DC federal judges, like … Reggie Walton have convinced themselves they have a duty — unbounded by the judicial canons — to make extrajudicial pronouncements about President Trump,” the complaint read.

Davis blasted Walton for creating an untenable situation by wanting to serve as a political pundit on CNN while maintaining his status as a judge.

“It is much worse when a different judge — especially a sitting federal judge — thinks it is his job to moonlight as a CNN commentator on a pending criminal case in another judge’s court,” the complaint added.

Judge Walton is also a D.C. District Court judge and Trump has a pending criminal case in the D.C. District Court.

Walton’s comments were wildly prejudicial and tainted the ability of Trump to receive a fair jury and a fair trial.

“A judge should not make public comment on the merits of a matter pending or impending in any court,” the complaint continued.

A rogue justice system where Democrat prosecutors and judges serve as partisan headhunters targeting their political opponents is the actual threat to democracy.

Davis hopes this ethics complaint is the beginning of holding out-of-control partisans weaponizing the justice system to account.
