Tim Walz had a rough go of it after Kamala Harris put him on the ticket.

But no one expected this.

And something terrible happened to Tim Walz that made him disappear and now everyone’s worried.

Tim Walz’s disappearing act

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz talked his way onto Vice President Kamala Harris’ ticket with constant appearances on cable news.

“From July 22 to Aug. 6, about two weeks before he was added to the ticket, Walz appeared on MSNBC, PBS, CNN and Fox News a total of ten times,” the Daily Caller reported that an analysis prepared by Newsbusters Curtis Houck showed.

Walz won major points by driving an entire news cycle by smearing U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as “weird.”

But since Kamala put him on the ticket Walz’s been the invisible man outside of his one joint interview with her that CNN host Dana Bash conducted.

“Since Harris chose Walz as her running mate on Aug. 6, the governor has not appeared on the networks he flocked to during the vetting process, according to Houck’s analysis,” the Daily Caller reported.

Walz is running the same hiding in the basement strategy as Kamala but for different reasons.

With her, Democrats want her to avoid speaking on policy so as not to shift the focus of the election to the radical left-wing agenda she would impose on America if elected.

Democrats stashed Walz under lock and key to avoid any questions about how he spent the last 20 years lying about his military service.

Walz lied about deploying to combat – he never did.

And he lied about retiring with the rank of Command Sergeant Major – he lost that rank when he quit on his troops and retired before they deployed to Iraq.

Contrast with J.D. Vance

J.D. Vance has done interviews with every major network and CNN.

He speaks to local reporters at every campaign stop.

And Vance is emerging as the campaign’s best messenger.

Donald Trump Jr. praised Vance’s performance on the trail in an interview with the Daily Caller.

“I’ve known him well and for a long time. I understand his talents. And I think every Sunday when I watch the Sunday shows or frankly, any other media, I am continually reaffirmed that me going all in for J.D. was 100% the right move,” Trump Jr. stated.

“But what’s also interesting is there’s plenty of people that were sort of, let’s just say, J.D. Vance, not necessarily fans or perhaps indifferent, who have since reached out to me knowing my push, knowing that they were probably pushing different directions who are straight up saying, ‘Don you are 100% right on that one. I got it wrong.’ And he’s absolutely kicking a** out on the campaign trail right now,” Trump Jr. added.

Democrats think they can take a knee and run out the clock the last two months of the campaign.

But that may be faulty thinking.

As polling guru Nate Silver noted, Kamala Harris’ numbers are on the decline.

“One of the reasons I’m not super sympathetic to complaints about the convention bounce stuff is that Harris is in fact on the decline in polls over the past couple of weeks in most of the key swing states,” Silver wrote on X.
