Should convicted felons still get to vote?

As one Vox headline reported, “Bernie Sanders Wants to Expand Voting Rights By Letting People in Prison Vote.”

Two states and Washington, D.C. currently allow convicted felons to vote from prison, and another 23 states — including California, New Jersey, and New York — automatically allow felons to vote after serving their time.
