The Five co-host Greg Gutfeld saw a major scandal unfolding in real-time.

He felt there was only one thing to do.

And Greg Gutfeld demanded criminal charges against this top Kamala Harris ally.

Greg Gutfeld calls out the Associated Press for fake news

Speaking at a campaign event in Arizona, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) slammed gun grabbers like Vice President Kamala Harris for seizing on tragedies like the one at Apalachee High School in Georgia to try and disarm the American people.

“Look, I don’t like this, I don’t like to admit this, I don’t like that this is a fact of life, but if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets,” Vance stated.

The Associated Press- which many conservatives now call Associated Propaganda – selectively edited Vance’s quote to make it appear like he was okay with school shootings.

“JD Vance says school shootings are a ‘fact of life,’ calls for better security,” an Associated Press post on X read.

The Associated Press later deleted the post but the damage was already done as the original post went viral with millions of views.

The purpose of the post wasn’t to try and inform the public about the views of the candidates running for office.

The purpose of the misleading post was to provide Kamala Harris with a talking point.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Kamala’s Presidential campaign seized on the Associated Press’ misinformation to smear Vance as willing to let kids die.

Greg Gutfeld wants criminal charges

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld addressed this latest example of liberal media bias on The Five.

He told viewers that the Associated Press and the Kamala campaign purposefully set out to deceive the American people about what J.D. Vance said for political gain.

“There’s little question that the AP or Harris campaign knew exactly what they were doing. I wonder how AP would feel about it if it happened to them? A headline might read: AP Is Against Lying To People,’ but, you know, take away the ‘Against,’ you got a whole different meaning and one that is the truth,” Gutfeld explained.

Gutfeld then mocked the Democrat Party and the media’s obsession with so-called “misinformation” online.

Misinformation – Gutfeld explained – is really nothing more than any Democrats disagree with.

Gutfeld also called out the hypocrisy of how the weaponized Department of Justice is trying to create a new Russia collusion hoax out of Russia paying the media company Tenet for sponsored content but ignoring the blatant misinformation campaign by the left-wing press.

“Misinformation is the thing the Dems keep railing on and underneath that, it’s anything they disagree with,” Gutfeld added. “Meanwhile, shouldn’t the DOJ be investigating AP? I mean, if you’re going to go after misinformation/disinformation, it’s really our media that has mastered that class.”
