Americans are slowly learning that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is not the man he claims to be on the campaign trail.

He’s already wrapped up in a stolen valor scandal over claims he made about his service in the National Guard.

And now Democrats are scrambling after CNN caught Tim Walz lying about his drunk driving arrest.

Tim Walz is a far-left radical

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been surrounded by controversy since the moment Kamala Harris announced him as her running mate.

Walz has one of the most far-left records in American politics.

He allowed Black Lives Matter thugs to loot businesses and burn buildings to the ground in the riots that occurred after the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020.

Walz is one of the most vocal supporters of the Left’s woke gender ideology.

He even signed a bill into law that allows children to have sex-change operations.

Aside from his far-Left record, Walz has issues that are making voters question his character.

He faced a stolen valor accusation within days of Kamala selecting him as a running mate.

Walz lied when he claimed the rank of Command Sergeant Major on multiple occasions over the years and also falsely claimed that he experienced combat in Afghanistan.

Of course, the left-wing media is helping Democrats paint Walz as a friendly Midwestern dad, but his stolen valor scandal was too much for CNN to sweep under the rug.

Tim Walz lies about drunk driving arrest

And now CNN is once again calling out Walz over another scandal.

CNN blew the lid on how Walz’s “campaign repeatedly made false statements about the details of his 1995 arrest for drunk and reckless driving.”

In 2006, Walz told the press that he had not been drinking on the night he was arrested for DUI in 1995.

He claimed that the only reason he failed the field sobriety test was because of a misunderstanding caused by a hearing loss he received while serving in the National Guard.

Not only that, but his campaign even claimed that the law enforcement officers allowed him to drive his own car to the jail that night.

But according to CNN, this is a flat-out lie.

“According to court and police records connected to the incident, Walz admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone in Nebraska,” CNN reported. “Walz was then transported by a state trooper to a local hospital for a blood test, showing he had a blood alcohol level of .128, well above the state’s legal limit of 0.1 at the time.

CNN found “numerous discrepancies between how the campaign described the events and the facts of what actually took place that night.”

One example was when Walz’s campaign manager claimed that the charge was dropped because “it wasn’t true.”

Nebraska State Police put all questions to bed by releasing a statement confirming that Walz did not drive his own car to the station that night.

“Under NSP procedure, a person suspected of impaired driving is not allowed to continue driving,” Cody Thomas, a spokesman for the Nebraska State Patrol, said. “In this case, the suspect was transported by the trooper and was lodged in Dawes County Jail.”

At the time of his DUI arrest in 1995, Walz was a 33-year-old high school teacher when a state trooper pulled him over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone while intoxicated from alcohol.

CNN is one of the most pro-Democrat media outlets in the world.

They’re all-in for Kamala Harris.

But Tim Walz’s scandals are so big that even CNN can’t spin his way out of it.
