Kamala Harris started running away from her left-wing record the moment Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

The left-wing media was more than happy to provide cover for Kamala Harris.

But a CNN host just revealed one fact about Kamala Harris’ record that caught everyone by surprise.

Vice President Kamala Harris took every opportunity to brag about her left-wing record before President Joe Biden dropped out and she became the Democrat Party’s Presidential candidate.

In 2019, the nonpartisan group GovTrack rated Kamala Harris as the most left-wing Senator in the United States.

GovTrack rated her as more to the Left than socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

And for good reason.

Harris has a history of championing everything from socialized medicine to gun confiscation to the Green New Deal to open borders to defunding the police.

“While running for president in 2019, Harris declared there was ‘no question’ she favored banning fracking,” Fox News reported. “She also promoted far-left defund the police initiatives, including promoting the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which helped bail Black Lives Matter rioters out of jail in 2020.”

But Harris is now running away from her record and taking a different position on the issues.

For example, she now claims that she doesn’t support a ban on fracking despite her saying it multiple times in past videos. 

The media is currently doing everything they can to sweep her left-wing history under the rug until after Election Day.

But they can only provide cover for so long.

Kamala Harris can’t hide forever from her record

Political commentator Michael Smerconish appeared on CNN This Morning to discuss the state of the Presidential race now that Kamala Harris is the nominee.

And he surprisingly gave Harris and the media a reality check about her record.  

Smerconish said she won’t be able to run from it forever.

“Well, I think she has some explaining to do,” Smerconish said. “I mean there have been any number of positions on which it seems in the last couple of months that it’s a different Kamala Harris than she who ran initially as a candidate herself.”

He predicted that Kamala Harris would select Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as a running mate to try and position herself as more of a moderate Democrat.

“Shapiro brings the necessary ideological balance,” he said. “It‘s interesting to me because the very thing that some progressives are raising and saying are problematic for him, I think are advantageous,” Smerconish continued. “For example, his support of school vouchers or some of the words that he has used in being critical of antisemitism and some of the protesters in the last several months on college campuses.”

“I think it‘s great for Kamala Harris because every time she‘s perceived as, or portrayed as being very far to the left, there‘s Josh Shapiro, who‘s going to lend some ideological balance to that ticket,” Smerconish added.

Kamala Harris has a history of supporting positions that are far too extreme for Americans.

Many Americans are unaware of her radical history.

But she will have to answer for it at some point before the November election.
