Law enforcement arrested a gunman for trying to assassinate Donald Trump at his golf course in Florida.

Americans couldn’t believe there was another attempt on his life.

And now Ron DeSantis let Jesse Watters in on this big announcement about the Trump assassination attempt.

Ron DeSantis says Florida will conduct its own investigation into Trump assassination attempt

An assassin set up a sniper’s nest at the fifth hole of former President Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach, Florida golf club in the hopes of murdering him.

The gunman was a Vice President Kamala Harris supporter who donated 19 times to Democrats and none to Republicans.

It appears the madman wanted to assassinate Trump after buying into the lies told by Democrats and Kamala that his opposition to the war in Ukraine made him a threat to global democracy.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared on Jesse Watters’ Fox News show and dropped a bombshell about the assassination attempt.

DeSantis told Watters that Florida would be running its own investigation into the assassination attempt.

“Well, the state of Florida is going to do our own investigation. Clearly, there were multiple violations of Florida law. We also, I think, have an interest in vindicating the truth about where this guy came from, what his motivations were. The people of our state deserve that,” DeSantis stated.

He explained that Americans needed an investigation into the assassination attempt that they could trust.

And since the FBI and Department of Justice are trying to jail Trump in Florida on the classified documents hoax, DeSantis told Watters that an entity not trying to put Trump in prison needed to run an investigation so the American people could have confidence this wasn’t a whitewash.

“I don’t think it’s in the best interest of this country to say that agencies like the FBI and DOJ, which are trying to prosecute Trump in South Florida, they’re on appeal at the 11th Circuit trying to reinstate an indictment that had been dismissed, that they’re the best people to turn around and one, give us the truth about this defendant, but also to prosecute the case where they don’t have as strong of jurisdictional claims. And so we are going to be doing our investigation. I’m going to have more to say on that very shortly about what precisely we’re going to do,” DeSantis concluded.

America needs a real investigation

The first attempt on Donald Trump’s life was two months ago.

An investigation run by the FBI and Secret Service has gone quiet.

Americans know nothing about the assassin beyond his name.

Authorities haven’t come forward with the shooter’s motivation, his politics, or how he managed to get a clear line of sight to shoot Trump.

Many Trump supporters suspect the investigation is more an exercise in covering for Kamala Harris’ administration not providing Donald Trump adequate security than getting real answers.
