The Democrat Party national convention is underway.

It got off to a rocky start.

And Jamie Raskin issued this sick warning to J.D. Vance.

Raskin issues a threat to Vance

The media bizarrely considers Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) some kind of Constitutional scholar.

He was one of the ringleaders in the January 6 witch hunt which Democrats and the press falsely claimed was an insurrection to overthrow the government.

In his speech on the first night of the Democratic National Convention, Raskin played up that false narrative to the hilt.

“I’ll never forget the pounding on the doors of the House chamber on January 6, where the screams to follow, hundreds of our police officers taunted and attacked, 140 of them were wounded by extremists wielding baseball bats, steel pipes, even American flags. Five people died that day. And four more of our officers took their own lives in the days and weeks that followed,” Raskin raved.

What Raskin didn’t mention was the people who died that day were Trump supporters.

He falsely claimed that former President Donald Trump doesn’t care about the Constitution.

“Someone should have told Donald Trump that the president’s job under Article II of the Constitution is to take care that the laws are faithfully executed — not that the vice president is executed,” Raskin ranted.

He then used the fact that establishment RINOs like former Vice President Mike Pence refusing to endorse Trump was somehow a bad thing.

“Pence has now joined more than two dozen officials from Donald Trump’s own administration in denouncing him and his historical record. Pence is the first Vice President in more than two centuries not to support the President he served with in a general election,” Raskin added.

Raskin then turned his attention to Trump’s running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).

In yet another tired reference to January 6, Raskin claimed Trump supporters wanted to kill Mike Pence and that they would eventually target him too.

“And by the way, J.D. Vance, do you understand why there was a sudden job opening for running mate on the GOP ticket? They tried to kill your predecessor! They tried to kill him because he would not follow Trump’s plan to destroy and nullify the votes of millions of Americans,” Raskin stated.

Raskin’s hypocrisy

Raskin is no Constitutional expert and he has no credibility on this matter.

In 2016, Raskin voted against certifying Donald Trump’s victory in a free and fair election because of lunatic conspiracy theories about voter suppression.

He was recently caught on camera threatening to instigate a civil war if Trump wins in 2024 as a Democrat majority in Congress would reject certifying his win.
