NFL condemns player for expressing Catholic faith

The woke cowards at the NFL office couldn’t wait to denounce Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker fast enough after his commencement speech at Benedictine University.

Butker is a traditional Catholic who spoke about how his Catholicism shaped his life in a graduation ceremony speech at a Catholic university.

That was too much for the NFL to bear and the league denounced him as a thought criminal.

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” NFL Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Jonathan Beane told People Magazine.

The fact that the NFL has a chief diversity and inclusion officer should signal right off the bat there are major problems.

But Beane made sure to tell the media that the NFL worships the Left’s true religion – wokiesm and that the league worships its central catechism, which is that diversity is our strength.

“His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger,” Beane added.

Butker praises traditional values

In his address, Butker praised the idea of women taking on the roles of wife and mother.

“For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives,” Butker stated.

He praised his wife Isabelle for making him the man he is today by adopting the vocation of mother and homemaker.

In his speech, Butker attacked the modern belief promoted by left-wing elites that career advancement and status should be a woman’s number one goal.

“I want to speak directly to you briefly, because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you. How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world,” Butker added.

Butker blasts modern left-wing elites

Butker also slammed homosexual Pride Month celebrations for promoting “deadly sin sort of pride that has a month dedicated to it.”

The three-time Super Bowl champion kicker also exposed President Joe Biden as a fake Catholic for promoting abortion-on-demand which deceives people into believing you can reject the Church’s fundamental teaching and still be a good Catholic.

“He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I’m sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice,” Butker continued.

But Biden wasn’t alone, Butker said Dr. Anthony Fauci – who pushed harmful pandemic lockdowns – and Democrats who tried to trick children into thinking they could become transgender also tried to present false witness of what it meant to be a Catholic.

“He is not alone. From the man behind the COVID lockdowns to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common — they are Catholic. This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn’t cut it,” Butker concluded.
