You won’t believe who just opened up an investigation into Donald Trump

As the second impeachment trial gets under way Donald Trump’s enemies are attacking him from every angle.

But Trump never saw this latest attempt to bring him down coming.

And you won’t believe who just opened up an investigation into Donald Trump.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger emerged as a key player in the case to impeach and convict Donald Trump.

Raffensperger recorded a conversation between himself and President Trump where Trump urged Raffensperger to do his job and count the votes in Georgia in what Trump claimed was an honest process.

The media latched onto this leaked recording and falsely claimed it was evidence of Donald Trump trying to steal the 2020 election.

And now Raffensperger’s office confirmed on Monday that it opened an investigation into Trump’s phone call.

The New York Times reports:

The office of Georgia’s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, on Monday started an investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s attempts to overturn the state’s election results, including a phone call he made to Mr. Raffensperger in which Mr. Trump pressured him to “find” enough votes to reverse his loss.

The move comes as Fani Willis, the Democratic district attorney of Fulton County, which encompasses much of Atlanta, is weighing whether to begin a criminal inquiry of her own.

Trump endorsed Raffensperger in 2018, but since that time, Raffensperger sold out the Republican Party at key moments.

The tape of Raffensperger’s phone call with Trump leaked 48-hours before the two Georgia Senate runoff elections.

Many political observers believe that leak cost Republicans both elections as some suburban voters registered their anger by staying home or voting for the Democrats.

And now Raffensperger is creating more fodder for Trump-haters in the media, Democrat Party and in the Never-Trump movement by launching this politically-motivated investigation into Donald Trump.
