You won’t believe what Colin Kaepernick just said about the American flag
Anti-American former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is back in the news.
Once again, it is for all the wrong reasons.
And you won’t believe what Colin Kaepernick just said about the American flag.
Nike was set to unveil a patriotic version of their popular Air Max 1 sneakers for the Fourth of July.
This show would feature Betsy Ross’s iconic original 13 colony American flag design on the heel.
But plans quickly changed when America-hating activist Colin Kaepernick protested that the American flag was a symbol of racism.
Nike quickly backtracked and yanked the shoe before it ever went on sale.
The Daily Caller reports:
Nike is recalling an American flag-themed sneaker after former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick complained that it harkened back to the slave era, The Wall Street Journal is reporting.
Nike had already delivered the Air Max 1 USA sneakers to stores when Kaepernick, a Nike endorser, complained about a Revolutionary War-era version of the flag stitched on the back of the shoe, according to The Journal.
The flag, designed by Betsy Ross, has 13 stars in a circle with 13 red and white stripes to represent the original colonies.
A Nike spokeswoman confirmed to The Journal that the shoes were pulled from shelves because of the flag.
“Nike has chosen not to release the Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July as it featured the old version of the American flag,” the spokeswoman said.
Nike is taking corporate virtue signaling and political correctness to extreme levels.
And it also shows Kaepernick was a liar when he claimed he wasn’t protesting the flag and everything it represents.
There were no police shootings in the 1700s.
Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem because he thinks America is an inherently racist country and that the American flag is a symbol of oppression.
