Whoopi Goldberg stunned viewers with one announcement that nobody saw coming

The View is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is taking the fight to enemy territory.

And Whoopi Goldberg stunned viewers with one announcement that nobody saw coming.

Greene exposes the Obamacare disaster

Marjorie Taylor Greene wasn't in Congress when Obamacare became law with the help of Nebraska RINO and then-Senator Ben Nelson and the “Cornhusker Kickback.”

Nor was she in Congress in 2017 when they had the chance to repeal Obamacare.

She got elected in 2020 after watching the Republican establishment betray conservative voters time and time again.

And now Greene is calling out the disaster that RINOs helped create and refuse to clean up.

"I was not in Congress when all this Obamacare, 'Affordable Care Act' bullsh*t started. I got here in 2021. As a matter of fact, the ACA made health insurance UNAFFORDABLE for my family after it was passed, with skyrocketing premiums higher than our house payment," Greene wrote.¹

Let's just say as nicely as possible, she's not a fan.

The government shutdown is now over a month with no end in sight.²

GOP establishment leadership is refusing to negotiate on Obamacare subsidies unless Democrats vote to reopen the government first.

They shouldn’t just expire, Obamacare should flat-out get repealed.

But the GOP establishment apparently wants to negotiate over the extra subsidies.

Greene meanwhile, knows it’s long past time to take the offramp from Obamacare.

Democrats are holding the government hostage to extend the very subsidies that prop up the failing Obamacare system.

Greene finds herself caught in a nightmare scenario that Republicans should have fixed by getting rid of Obamacare a long time ago.

Working-class families across her northwest Georgia district face health insurance premiums that could DOUBLE in 2026 when enhanced tax credits expire.³

"But I'm going to go against everyone on this issue because when the tax credits expire this year my own adult children's insurance premiums for 2026 are going to DOUBLE, along with all the wonderful families and hard-working people in my district," Greene explained.⁴

Obamacare destroyed the individual insurance market by mandating coverage nobody wanted and driving costs through the roof.

Then Democrats threw enhanced subsidies at the problem during COVID to hide how badly their system was failing.

Now those subsidies are expiring and families are about to get crushed by the real cost of Obamacare.

Maybe that’s what has to happen to ultimately get rid of Obamacare and fix the failed healthcare system.

But Greene’s position is that if subsidies expiring are really going to double premiums that’s obviously terrible but extending them just keeps propping up a system she wants eliminated entirely.

"Also, I think health insurance and all insurance is a scam, just be clear!" Greene wrote.⁵

She's not wrong about that.

The betrayal that kept the disaster alive

Remember when establishment Republicans promised to repeal Obamacare?

They campaigned on it for seven years.

Then when Republicans finally had control of Congress and the White House in 2017, they choked.

John McCain gave his infamous thumbs-down on the Senate floor, killing the repeal effort in one of the most cowardly acts in Congressional history.

RINOs like McCain, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski sided with Democrats to preserve the disaster they claimed to oppose.

Now weak-kneed Republicans in GOP leadership seemingly want to stay stuck managing a failing system instead of dismantling it.

Greene tore into Republican leadership during a conference call, demanding answers about what they plan to do.

"Not a single Republican in leadership talked to us about this or has given us a plan to help Americans deal with their health insurance premiums DOUBLING," Greene wrote.⁶

The silence from leadership told her everything she needed to know.

"I said I have no respect for the House not being in session passing our bills and the President's executive orders. And I demanded to know from Speaker Johnson what the Republican plan for healthcare is," Greene confirmed.⁷

Johnson said he has "ideas and pages of policy ideas" but refused to share a single proposal.

Meanwhile, Greene is watching the federal government spend money like drunken sailors on everything except Americans.

"Our country sent $30 billion to Israel in 2024 alone killing countless innocent children and sent HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS to Ukraine in the past few years. By the way, I voted NO to all of that murder! America should have nothing to do with the Ukrainian government, Ukrainian, pensions, and Ukrainian businesses during this entire stupid war that America should have nothing to do with," Greene wrote.⁸

"All our country does is fund foreign countries and foreign wars, and never does anything to help the American people!!!" she continued.⁹

That's the America First position in a nutshell.

We're sending billions overseas while many American families face financial ruin from a bunch of problems that RINOs like to campaign on fixing but refuse to vote that way when they’re in Washington, D.C.

Greene takes the fight to hostile territory

The View co-hosts have spent years attacking Greene.

They compared her to Cruella de Vil and demanded she apologize for interrupting Biden during his State of the Union address.¹⁰

But Greene isn't backing down from anyone.

During Wednesday's Hot Topics segment about the shutdown, Whoopi Goldberg made an announcement that left jaws on the floor.

"I'm happy to say that she's going to be here on Tuesday," Goldberg declared about Greene.¹¹

The studio audience gasped.

Co-host Joy Behar noted the timing: "It's election day. It happens to be election day."¹²

Goldberg nearly let a profanity slip when explaining why they wanted Greene on the show.

"I don't know how many things we agree on but I know the one thing that she and I and all of us at this table agree on is this should not be affecting the American people," Goldberg stated.¹³

Greene isn't going on The View because she suddenly loves liberals.

She's going because she'll take the fight anywhere to expose how the Obamacare disaster is crushing American families.

"I'm here in Washington DC this week to meet with anyone who is AMERICA ONLY and will work with me on a plan for AMERICANS ONLY!!!" Greene wrote.¹⁴

That's the key difference between Greene and the Republican establishment.

She's willing to go into enemy territory and make the case directly instead of hiding behind carefully managed Fox News appearances.

Why Greene's district backs her fight

Republicans in Greene's district understand exactly what she's doing.

She's not abandoning conservative principles — she's fighting for them against a broken system.

"There's some real cracks in the economy," Republican state representative Kasey Carpenter said. "The 'haves' are fine, but the 'have nots' are not."¹⁵

Doug Bowling owns a deli in Greene's hometown of Rome, Georgia.

He's watching his business get crushed by rising costs while Washington sends billions overseas.

"We're making no money," Bowling said. His labor costs are soaring and "will never come down."¹⁶

About 74,000 people in Greene's district receive tax credits to help lower their monthly premium payments.¹⁷

Every single one of them could see premiums rise 80 to 200 percent without those credits.¹⁸

These aren't welfare recipients looking for handouts.

They're working families, small business owners, farmers, and ranchers who got trapped in the Obamacare disaster through no fault of their own.

The individual insurance market that used to work for these families was destroyed by Democrat mandates and RINO cowardice.

Now they're stuck choosing between crushing premiums or no coverage at all.

Greene refuses to let them suffer in silence while politicians in both parties posture and do nothing.

"I'm not putting the blame on the President," Greene said. "I'm actually putting the blame on the Speaker and Leader [John] Thune in the Senate. This should not be happening."¹⁹

She's carving her own lane and makes no apologies for it.

"I'm carving my own lane," Greene posted. "I'm absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year."²⁰

What Greene's break means for Trump and Republicans

Greene appearing on The View shows how far she's drifted from Trump and Republican leadership.

The show has long been hostile territory for conservatives — most Republican officials won't even return their calls.

Co-hosts recently complained they can't get Republican men on the show because "they're scared of us."²²

But Greene agreed to sit down with Whoopi Goldberg and the panel on Election Day when political tensions will be running high.

Greene insists she still supports Trump but makes no apologies for breaking with his staff.

"I'm not some sort of blind slave to the president, and I don't think anyone should be," Greene said in an interview. "I serve in Congress. We're a separate branch of the government, and I'm not elected by the president. I'm not elected by anyone that works in the White House. I'm elected by my district."²³

With Republicans holding a razor-thin majority in the House, every vote matters when you can only afford to lose a handful of Republicans.

That’s why the White House tried to discourage Greene from running for Senate in Georgia this spring.

She agreed to back off but clearly decided she wasn't going to back down on fights she cares about.
