What Rand Paul confirmed about Peter Strzok and Lisa Page is very disturbing
FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page set off a firestorm after hundreds of text messages were released revealing their hatred of Donald Trump.
The texts between FBI agents involved with the Clinton Email Scandal and Mueller investigation even went as far as to say they needed an “insurance policy” against a Trump presidency.
But what Rand Paul just found out about their current status will make you shudder.
Strzok and Page were reassigned away from the Mueller investigation against President Trump for their anti-Trump bias.
But there are still unanswered questions.
So Senator Rand Paul sent an official letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, asking him if Strzok and Page still maintained their “Top Secret” clearances.
And the response he got back confirmed that they still have “Top Secret” clearances.

As Paul points out, this means Strzok and Page could still have unchecked access to sensitive private information such as Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) databases.
You may recall, it was the FISA court that approved surveillance of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Spying on Trump’s campaign was justified using the partisan Steele dossier of salacious fake news stories meant to smear Trump.
