What Obama claimed in this new campaign speech will make your jaw drop
Democrats are desperately trotting out Barack Obama on the campaign trail.
They know the so-called “blue wave” is in trouble so they’re pulling out all the stops.
And what Obama claimed in this new campaign speech will make your jaw drop.
Barack Obama was in Nevada campaigning for Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Jacky Rosen.
The most recent poll shows Republican Dean Heller opening up a seven-point lead.
So Barack Obama was in town attacking President Trump attempting to rile up the leftwing base.
Obama took potshots at President Trump and claimed that he always stated the facts.
ABC News reports:
Obama picked apart a number of current Republican positions including claims by Republican congressional candidates that people with pre-existing conditions would not lose their health insurance. “I know you can bet on anything here in Vegas, but you don’t want to bet that Republicans are going to protect your healthcare.”
Without mentioning him by name, Obama took a thinly-veiled swipe at President Trump. “Unlike some, I actually try to state facts—I believe in facts- I believe in a fact-based reality, a fact-based politics,” he said. “I don’t believe in just making stuff up. I think you should say what’s true.”
In her Senate campaign, Rosen has made health care the primary issue of her campaign — an issue that was also central to Obama’s presidency.
But Obama is the biggest liar of them all.
As he once famously said, “If you like your health insurance, you can keep it.”
In his speech this week, Obama slammed President Trump on his tax cuts.
He claimed that Trump’s tax cut plan wasn’t “paid for.”
But he’s forgetting the fact that it’s Americans’ money – not the government’s.
Not to mention the fact that the IRS has collected a record amount of revenue from income taxes in 2018 thanks to improved economic growth thanks to the tax and regulation cuts.
The fact is President Trump was elected to clean up Obama’s mess.
Democrats think trotting Obama out on the campaign trail will give them the spark they need to win the House and Senate majority.
But he continues to make outrageous claims like these that are putting Democrats in jeopardy.
