What Adam Schiff said about impeaching Joe Biden just blew up in the Democrats’ faces
House Republicans took the major step of opening an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.
Democrats in Washington, D.C. immediately launched into damage control mode.
But that effort imploded right off the bat because what Adam Schiff said about impeaching Joe Biden just blew up in the Democrats’ faces.
After months of gathering evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced he instructed the chairman of the Judiciary, Oversight and Ways and Means Committees to open an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.

Those three committees already turned up evidence that exposed the Biden administration’s political interference in the Hunter Biden probe, millions of dollars from foreign oligarchs flowing into the bank accounts of Biden family members, and that Hunter Biden sold “the brand”—access to then Vice President Joe Biden—as the main selling point in his pitch as to why foreign companies should do business with him.
Emails from Joe Biden’s staff and testimony from Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer also obliterated Joe Biden’s lies about how he never talked business with Hunter Biden or had any involvement in these schemes.
The case for opening an impeachment inquiry was open and shut so Speaker McCarthy announced Republicans would take the next step in their investigation.
Democrats circled the wagons around Joe Biden.
But it was California Congressman Adam Schiff who offered the most ironic and jaw-dropping defense.
Schiff claimed McCarthy only opened the impeachment inquiry into Biden for political reasons.
McCarthy’s reading of the Impeachment Clause:
The President shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or … when the Speaker, lacking moral authority or control over his members, can’t remain speaker or fund the government without it.

This was rich coming from Schiff who ran the Russia collusion hoax witch hunt into Donald Trump.
When Robert Mueller’s investigation failed to turn up evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians during the 2016 election it took Schiff weeks to move on to the Ukraine hoax.
Schiff’s office colluded with so-called “whistleblower” to open an impeachment inquiry into Trump over the fact that Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to cooperate in an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden’s corruption over the Ukrainian energy company Burisma putting Hunter Biden on its board of directors.
Americans later learned Burisma’s payments to Hunter Biden were part of a criminal investigation into tax fraud, money laundering, and foreign lobbying charges against Hunter Biden.
But Democrats just wanted to get rid of Donald Trump by any means necessary.
And when the Russia collusion hoax imploded, they simply moved on to the next fishing expedition.
Adam Schiff is the last person in Washington, D.C. who should ever falsely claim Republicans are impeaching Donald Trump for purely political reasons.
