Trump’s lawyer sent Robert Mueller running for the hills with this message
Donald Trump and his lawyers are stepping up the fight against special counsel Robert Mueller.
The witch hunt has dragged on for over one year.
And Trump’s lawyer responded with the one threat that could bring the investigation to a screeching halt.
Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox and Friends and pressed the case that the Mueller investigation is corrupt.
Multiple members of the Mueller team have been removed from the investigation because of their anti-Trump bias.
And Gulliani demanded to see all the text messages from members of the Mueller team in order to determine just how tainted Mueller’s team and their investigation are.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Rudy Giuliani wants to see all Mueller team members’ text messages to check for anti-Trump bias, the Trump attorney said Monday.
“I want to see all their texts. I want to see if they’re texting the same thing,” Giuliani said in an interview on “Fox & Friends.” “I’m willing to bet a dinner that they are. You’ve got two or three of them that are texting horrible things about Trump.”
Three FBI officials who worked on special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation have been found to have sent text messages criticizing President Donald Trump.
Peter Strzok, the former deputy chief of counterintelligence, sent messages to his mistress, FBI attorney Lisa Page, calling Trump an “idiot.” In one Aug. 8, 2016 text, Strzok told Page that “we’ll stop” Trump from becoming president.”
On Sunday, Giuliani called Mueller’s investigation the most corrupt he has ever seen.
Giuliani escalated those attacks with a call to dig through the communications of the Mueller team.
After the Inspector General report found widespread anti-Trump bias at the DOJ and FBI, Giuliani’s call to examine the entire Mueller team is more than fair.
