Trump Used One Word To Describe Ilhan Omar That Left Her Fuming

Ilhan Omar spent years attacking Trump while hiding behind accusations of racism.
Trump finally had enough of her constant complaints.
And Trump used one word to describe Ilhan Omar that left her fuming.
Trump unleashes on Omar during Pennsylvania rally
President Donald Trump traveled to Pennsylvania on Tuesday for what the White House billed as an economic policy speech.
But Trump had other business to handle.
The President lit into Minnesota Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar during a blistering attack that had the crowd on its feet.
"I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with a little… turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but b*tch. She's always complaining," Trump told the Mount Pocono crowd.¹
Trump wasn't finished.
"She comes from her country where, I mean, it's considered about the worst country in the world, right?" Trump continued. "They have no military. They have no nothing. They have no parliament. They don't know what the hell the word parliament means. They have nothing. They have no police. They police themselves. They kill each other all the time."²
The President then dropped the hammer.
"We ought to get her the hell out. She married her brother in order to get in, right? She married her brother. Can you imagine if Donald Trump married his sister? Beautiful — she's a beautiful person. If I married my sister to get my citizenship do you think I'd last for about two hours, or would it be something less than that? She married her brother to get in. Therefore she's here illegally. She should get the hell out. Throw her the hell out," Trump declared.³
The crowd erupted in chants of "Send her back!"
Omar responded with her typical dismissiveness on social media.
"Trump's obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help," she posted.⁴
Omar's district at center of massive fraud scandal
Trump's attack came as Minnesota faces scrutiny over what federal prosecutors are calling the largest pandemic relief fraud scheme in American history.
Over $1 billion in taxpayer money meant for feeding hungry children, autism services, and housing assistance was stolen in an elaborate network of fraud that primarily involved members of Minnesota's Somali community.
The main case, dubbed "Feeding Our Future," saw 78 defendants charged with creating fake meal sites and submitting fraudulent claims for children who didn't exist.⁵
Seventy-eight defendants have been charged so far with 61 convictions secured.
The mastermind, Aimee Bock, was convicted by a jury, but most other defendants were of Somali descent.
State officials knew something was wrong in July 2019. CBS News reported that Bock and her organization immediately pushed back when Minnesota workers raised concerns about suspicious claims.⁶
Former state employees told CBS that Bock immediately began pressuring workers who had follow-up questions about reimbursements.
The scandal exploded beyond "Feeding Our Future" to include nearly $220 million in alleged autism program fraud and $302 million stolen from the Housing Stabilization Program.
Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said the final fraud total in Minnesota programs could exceed $1 billion when investigations conclude.⁷
Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced this week that her agency launched an investigation into whether the same Somali organizations also fraudulently obtained PPP loans.
"Numerous individuals and nonprofits indicted in the $1 billion Minnesota COVID fraud scandal, including Feeding Our Future, received SBA PPP loans in addition to other state and federal funding," Loeffler stated.⁸
The Treasury Department opened an inquiry into claims some stolen funds were routed to Somalia and possibly reached the terrorist organization al-Shabaab, though no definitive public link has been established.
Walz administration let billions disappear
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who was Kamala Harris's running mate in 2024, has come under fire for his administration's failure to stop the fraud before it spiraled out of control.
Republican State Senator Jordan Rasmusson told Fox News Digital that political correctness prevented Walz's administration from investigating Somali-run nonprofits.
"Concerns of political correctness halted the Walz administration from doing the investigations they needed to protect Minnesota's tax dollars," Rasmusson said.⁹
The Minnesota Star Tribune reported in 2022 that state officials provided federal authorities with "little or no evidence" that Feeding Our Future was misappropriating money.¹⁰
The FBI had to build its case from scratch.
State officials knew about problems in 2019 but failed to act decisively until the FBI stepped in two years later.
Former state employees described an environment where raising concerns about fraud was discouraged for fear of being labeled racist.
Omar has defended the Somali community, arguing they are victims rather than perpetrators.
But she couldn't escape questions about whether stolen funds reached terrorist organizations.
"If there was a linkage in the money that they have stolen going to terrorism, then that is a failure of the FBI and our court system in not figuring that out," Omar told CBS News.¹¹
That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of the Somali community's innocence.
Trump made clear he's done tolerating the fraud and the excuses.
The President is terminating Temporary Protected Status for Somalis and ordering ICE raids in Minneapolis.
"Minnesota is a hub of fraudulent money laundering activity," Trump declared earlier this week.¹²
Democrats spent years calling Trump a racist for questioning immigration from countries with high rates of terrorism and fraud.
Now over $1 billion in taxpayer money is gone, with investigations revealing systematic abuse of American generosity by the very communities Democrats demanded we welcome without scrutiny.
Omar can complain all she wants about Trump's "obsession" with her.
But when her constituents steal a billion dollars from American taxpayers, maybe she should worry less about Trump's tone and more about the criminals operating in her district.
