Trump Just Kept American Troops Out of Another Middle East War The Neocons Were Desperate to Start

Lindsey Graham and the neocons were already writing the speeches about why Americans needed to bomb Iran.

Trump had other plans.

And Trump just kept American troops out of another Middle East war the neocons were desperate to start.

Russia Brokered Deal While Warmongers Screamed for American Blood

Iran and Israel reportedly secretly agreed not to attack each other through a Russian backchannel, according to The Washington Post.

That means no new war.

Which means no American troops deployed to the Middle East fighting someone else's battle.

In late December, Israeli officials sent a message through Vladimir Putin to Tehran with a simple promise.

Israel wouldn't strike Iran if Iran didn't strike Israel first.

Iran sent word back through the same Russian channel that they'd hold their fire too.

Netanyahu called Putin multiple times to work out these arrangements.

The whole thing happened behind the scenes while Lindsey Graham was on TV demanding military action.

Putin served as the middleman, and for once, that actually worked in America's favor.

Let Russia broker peace between countries that hate each other.

That's their problem to solve, not ours.

The Neocons Wanted Americans Flying Bombing Runs Over Iran

Here's what the establishment was pushing for.

Israel wanted American support for renewed strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities and missile sites.

Netanyahu's intelligence community believes Iran is rebuilding the capabilities Israel destroyed in June.

The warmongers in Washington were salivating over another Middle East conflict.

Graham has been screaming for military action against Iran for months.

Former Israeli diplomat said Trump is "much more in the peacemaking mode than attacking mode" on Iran right now.

That's driving the neocons crazy because they wanted American pilots in the skies over Tehran and even boots on the ground.

Trump's giving them backchannels and diplomacy instead.

No American troops required for Netanyahu's next campaign against Iran.

June War Cost Taxpayers Half a Billion in Interceptor Missiles Alone

The 12-day war in June taught Trump exactly what happens when America gets involved.

Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on June 13, 2025, with massive airstrikes across Iran.

Iran fired over 500 ballistic missiles back at Israel.

Then Trump joined the campaign on June 22 with B-2 bombers striking Iran's underground Fordow nuclear facility.

American forces helped Israel intercept Iranian missiles and drones throughout the conflict.

That depleted American THAAD missile defense systems protecting Israel.

The United States fired roughly 100 to 150 THAAD interceptors during those 12 days.

Each interceptor costs $12.7 million.

Pentagon documents show America burned through approximately $500 million in THAAD missiles alone defending Israel.

That's 25% of America's entire THAAD stockpile used up in less than two weeks.

Guess who pays for those?

American taxpayers footed the bill while Israel and Iran fought their war.

The conflict killed over 1,000 Iranians and 29 Israelis.

Zero Americans died because Trump kept ground troops out.

But American taxpayers still got stuck with a half-billion-dollar tab just for the interceptor missiles.

Now the neocons want to run that play again.

Americans Don't Want Their Sons and Daughters Fighting For Foreign Countries

Trump's backchannel strategy gives him exactly what he needs.

He can tell Netanyahu to work through Putin if he's worried about Iran rebuilding.

No American deployments required.

No Gold Star families created because some politician decided American soldiers should die protecting foreign borders.

The streets of Iran began to fall quiet after recent protests aided by, if not actively spun up by, agents of Netanyahu’s government failed to bring about American military intervention.

No new war broke out between Israel and Iran.

Of course, that was never the plan – they wanted America to go to war with Iran on the behalf of foreign special interests.

Trump didn’t fall for it.

That's a win for America because our troops stayed home and our taxpayers didn't get stuck with another trillion-dollar Middle East bill.

The neocons will keep pushing for military action because that's what they always do.

Graham and his allies want American blood and treasure spent in the Middle East.

Trump just proved you can pursue American interests without getting Americans killed in someone else's war.

That's what America First foreign policy actually looks like.
