Trump Caught Time Magazine Red-Handed With This Hair Trick

Donald Trump just achieved one of the biggest foreign policy victories in modern history.
But the liberal media couldn’t let him enjoy the moment without sabotage.
And Trump caught Time Magazine red-handed with this hair trick that had everyone talking.
Time Magazine’s "His Triumph" Cover Backfires
Time Magazine unveiled its latest cover on Monday celebrating Trump’s historic Gaza ceasefire deal with the headline "His Triumph."¹
The article itself praised the agreement as potentially "a signature achievement of Trump’s second term" that could "mark a strategic turning point for the Middle East."²
But there was one major problem — the photo they chose looked like it was taken by someone who actively despised Trump.
Shot from a low angle with harsh backlighting, the image made Trump’s famous hair appear nearly transparent.³
The sunlight shining through from behind created what Trump called a "floating crown" effect that made his signature hairstyle look almost invisible.⁴
Trump Fires Back at 1:30 AM
Flying back from Egypt aboard Air Force One after signing the historic peace deal, Trump couldn’t let this slide.⁵
At 1:36 AM Eastern Time, he unleashed on Truth Social with a post that pulled no punches.
"Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time," Trump wrote.⁶
He accused the magazine of deliberately making his hair "disappear" and creating the bizarre floating crown effect with the backlighting.⁷
"I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out," Trump continued.⁸
The President ended with a direct challenge to Time: "What are they doing, and why?"⁹
Kari Lake Exposes the Real Agenda
Acting CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media Kari Lake immediately spotted what Time was really up to.¹⁰
"Time magazine uses the most unflattering photos of President Trump at a moment when they should be honoring him," Lake posted on X.¹¹
She didn’t just complain — she created her own version of what the cover should have looked like.
Lake’s alternative cover showed Trump looking directly at the camera with his hair properly visible and voluminous.¹²
"Share this cover so that the world sees the strength of our great President Trump instead of the one the fake news Time magazine put out," Lake wrote.¹³
The fake cover she created featured the headline "Trump’s Triumph: Bringing Peace to the World" with a much more flattering straight-on photo.¹⁴
Thousands of Trump supporters immediately began sharing Lake’s version instead of Time’s original.
The Pattern Nobody’s Talking About
Here’s what the media doesn’t want you to know — this isn’t the first time Time has played games with Trump covers.
Back in 2017, Time had to ask Trump to remove a fake cover from his golf clubs.¹⁵
But Trump has legitimately appeared on Time’s cover more than a dozen times since announcing his presidential campaign.¹⁶
Time named him Person of the Year in 2016 with the subtitle "President of the Divided States of America."¹⁷
Some conservatives noticed the "M" in "TIME" was positioned behind Trump’s head in a way that looked like devil horns — though Time insisted this was coincidental.¹⁸
The magazine has a documented history of selecting the most unflattering possible angles for conservative politicians while using heroic lighting for Democrats.
Compare the harsh upward angle they used for Trump with the soft, flattering portraits they’ve given Biden, Harris, and Obama over the years.
Trump’s History With Unflattering Photos
This isn’t just about vanity — Trump has legitimate reason to call out media outlets that deliberately choose bad photos.
In March, he demanded Colorado Governor Jared Polis remove a "purposefully distorted" portrait of him from the state capitol.¹⁹
"Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before," Trump wrote at the time.²⁰
In February 2020, photos of Trump with windswept hair went viral, which he also called out as manipulated.²¹
Trump’s hair has been the subject of intense media scrutiny for years, with outlets like Vanity Fair calling it a "dead, furry lobster" in 2015.²²
The New York Post has described his hair as "bizarre" multiple times.²³
One cosmetic surgeon even claimed Trump had undergone at least five hair transplant surgeries, though Trump has insisted his hair is completely natural.²⁴
Why This Matters More Than You Think
The timing of Time’s photo selection reveals the game the mainstream media is still playing.
Trump just brokered the release of all 20 living Israeli hostages and over 1,900 Palestinian prisoners in a groundbreaking peace deal.²⁵
He traveled to Jerusalem to address the Knesset and then to Egypt for a signing ceremony with world leaders.²⁶
Trump has claimed to resolve eight conflicts since returning to office in January — including agreements between India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Cambodia and Thailand, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Serbia and Kosovo, and Israel and Iran.²⁷
Though Trump’s role in some of these agreements has been disputed, and several conflicts continue despite ceasefires, the Gaza deal represents his most significant diplomatic achievement.²⁸
But instead of celebrating this historic diplomatic achievement with an appropriately presidential photo, Time chose an angle that makes him look weak and ridiculous.
The message is clear — even when they’re forced to acknowledge Trump’s successes, the liberal media will undercut him however they can.
They know most people just scroll past the cover image on social media without reading the full article.
So they pair a glowing headline with the worst possible photo, hoping casual observers will mock Trump’s appearance rather than recognize his achievement.
Trump calling out this manipulation at 1:30 AM shows he understands exactly what they’re doing.
He’s not going to let them diminish his accomplishments with cheap visual tricks — not after accomplishing what Biden, Obama, and decades of failed diplomats couldn’t pull off.
Time Magazine wanted to have it both ways — praise Trump’s achievement in print while making him look foolish on the cover.
Trump just made sure everyone knows what they tried to do.
