Trey Gowdy went on Fox News and revealed the one Obama ally that could be heading to jail
Americans are waiting for United States Attorney John Durham to complete his criminal investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion probe.
Anticipation is building that Durham will bring criminal charges.
Trey Gowdy went on Fox News and revealed the one Obama ally who could be heading to jail.
Appearing on Fox News, former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy gave his thoughts on which Deep State agents John Durham may indict.
Peter Strzok was the first name that Gowdy mentioned.
“Keep in mind. Peter Strzok, that I think is now a household name, has his fingerprints on every aspect of this,” Gowdy stated.
Strzok was the Trump-hating FBI agent who signed off on opening the Russia investigation in July 2016 and was later fired from the Mueller witch hunt after anti-Trump text messages he sent to his mistress Lisa Page surfaced.
Gowdy went on to detail the key roles Strzok placed in the Hillary Clinton email and Russian collusion investigations as evidence he would at the top of the list of Deep State loyalists Durham would investigate.
“From initiating it in the summer of 2016 to the Hillary Clinton investigation to [special counsel Robert] Mueller to interviewing Michael Flynn,” Gowdy stated. “So, Peter Strzok would be a name that I would listen for as Durham begins to wind up his work.”
Democrats and the Fake News Media have tried to downplay Durham’s investigation, but Gowdy explained to the Fox News audience why holding dirty cops at the FBI accountable was so important.
“We give law enforcement and our intelligence community these awesome powers that no one else has: the power to indict and arrest and surveil and read emails. And all he [Barr] is asking in return is that you be a good steward and that there be a factual predicate when you investigate, whether it’s a potential president or your neighbor next door,” Gowdy stated.
“When you give power to someone, it is not illegitimate to say, ‘Were you a good steward of those powers?'” Gowdy added.
