Trey Gowdy just destroyed Joe Biden with one reality check Democrats don’t want to hear

Democrats and Joe Biden pushed all their chips into the middle of the table on January 6.

But that move backfired in a major way.

And Trey Gowdy just destroyed Joe Biden with one reality check Democrats don’t want to hear.

The Democrats’ televised pep rally on January 6 did not play the way the Left hoped.

Democrats staged a partisan political variety show designed to kick off the Left’s 2022 campaign messaging that Republicans and Donald Trump were the Party of insurrection.

Joe Biden started the Democrats’ January 6 rally by delivering a speech where he tore into Donald Trump and Republican voters by calling them the enemies of democracy.

On Fox News Special Report, Gowdy told host Brett Baier that Biden blew an opportunity to make good on his campaign promise of unifying the country.

Instead, Gowdy explained that Biden delivered another partisan speech that is sure to further divide the country.

“Yes, I thought a year ago today I heard a speech that some might find inciting, and the one I heard today was pretty inciting. I think his goal was to get under President Trump’s skin. This is a guy that talked about unity more than any president has ever talked about it in his inaugural address, and this was just another political speech, which is why I’m convinced, Bret, if we are ever going to have unity in this country, it’s not going to come from the top down. It’s not going to come from a speech from Statuary Hall or Mar-a- Lago. It will be when the people decide they are sick and tired of the conflict. But this speech is not getting us there,” Gowdy told host Brett Baier.

Gowdy also blasted Kamala Harris for comparing January 6 to the 9/11 terror attacks and the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Thousands of Americans died at Pearl Harbor and on 9/11, leading the country to mobilize for war.

“I thought what happened a year ago today was really, really bad. And it is unnecessary and actually non-persuasive to compare it to two of the seminal things that have happened in this country’s history. She did leave out the civil war. I will give her credit for that, she left out World War II and the civil war. Actually, she didn’t leave out World War II. You’re right. She mentioned Pearl Harbor. How she was successful in a courtroom, I thought her delivery was poor and the words she chose were just not persuasive,” Gowdy continued.

Gaffes like this are why Kamala Harris’ approval rating is 28 percent and Democrats worry she cannot defeat Donald Trump if Joe Biden does not run for re-election in 2024.

Democrats played up the one-year anniversary of January 6 to the hilt.

It’s become a media obsession because polls show Joe Biden is a deeply unpopular President.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris sought to escalate that effort with their angry speeches.

That was a truth Trey Gowdy was more than happy to point out.
