Top Fox News host crossed the line with this unthinkable lie about impeachment
Fox News Channel’s impeachment coverage continues to confuse longtime viewers.
A certain time what’s on the air at Fox is indistinguishable from fake news CNN.
And now one top Fox News host crossed the line with this unthinkable lie about impeachment.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace is one of Fox’s leading “straight news” journalists.
Unfortunately, in 2020 America, “straight news” is now defined as “hair on fire” Trump hatred.
Wallace has been one of the leading boosters for the Democrats’ paper thin case on impeachment. And that continued with Wallace’s appearance on Fox’s special coverage of the Chief Justice John Roberts swearing-in in the Senate for the impeachment trial. Wallace once again sensationalized the Democrats’ case for a conviction on their partisan articles of impeachment.
The Fox News Sunday host claimed Democrats unearthed a “troubling set of facts” and this was a “serious issue.”
“Look for all the talks about politics and polarization, this revolves around a troubling set of facts. President Trump made a phone call to President Zelensky of Ukraine on July 25 and in that phone call did ask for the Ukrainian government to investigate issues that would have went down to the political benefit of Donald Trump, namely Democratic involvement the 2016 election, the question of Burisma and Joe Biden and there seems to have been some link between that and aid to Ukraine and also a White House meeting. It’s a serious issue. You can argue it doesn’t rise to the level of impeachment,” Wallace began.
“You can argue that it wasn’t a crime,” Wallace continued. “But it is a serious issue. It’s a troubling set of facts. I don’t think it’s a terrible idea that the Senate is going to discuss that.”
If anything, Wallace is a master at traditional Washington, D.C. group think.
Wallace knows he needs to keep his credibility with his Fake News Media peers and the easiest way to do that is by promoting the Democrat Party agenda.,
In this case, that is impeachment.
