The major Presidential candidates are finalizing their tickets.

Every four years pundits and the public look for that running mate selection who can shake up the race.

And this Vice-Presidential candidate had one shocking response about Donald Trump.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. offered the Vice-Presidential slot to New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is an outspoken opponent of COVID vaccine mandates and lockdowns.

He also questioned the official story about Jeffrey Epstein.

And Rodgers also opposes the endless war in Ukraine.

If a third-party candidate was trying to siphon voters away from former President Donald Trump, Aaron Rodgers is the type of running mate that would come straight out central casting.

He’s a Super Bowl champion and a future Hall of Famer.

And Rodgers also just so happens to play in the largest media market in the country as he’s the starting quarterback for the New York Jets which would guarantee a platform that no other third party candidate enjoyed since Ross Perot in 1992.

In a podcast interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rodgers revealed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. offered him the job of being his running mate.

He said he considered the job because he felt former President Donald Trump fell short in draining the “Swamp.”

“My thing is, [Donald Trump] had four years to do it and didn’t drain the swamp,” Rodgers began.

Rodgers didn’t hold ill will towards Trump and thought the forces arrayed against him may have been too powerful.

“And whether he just got scared because of what he learned when he was in there — I think it’s very plausible,” Rodgers added.

Rodgers said his patriotism led him to strongly consider the offer

Rodgers told Carlson that his love for America is what almost caused him to accept the offer.

“But that’s why I was interested when Bobby came to me and said, ‘Would you think about being my running mate?’ And I said, ‘Are you serious? I’m a f**king football player.’ But I love this country, and I’d love to be a part of bringing it back to what she used to be,” Rodgers continued.

“Oh yeah, I definitely thought about it,” Rodgers confirmed.

“I definitely thought about it, because I love Bobby and I just wanted to hear what he had to say about it,” Rodger declared.

As soon as word leaked that Kennedy was considering Rodgers, the media began a smear campaign.

CNN’s Pamela Rodgers claimed he approached her at the 2013 Kentucky Derby and questioned if the tragedy at Sandy Hook that took place the previous December actually happened.

The media was worried that Kennedy would pull votes from President Joe Biden so CNN wanted to code Rodgers as a tinfoil hat-wearing MAGA conspiracy theorist.

Rodgers denied ever holding those views, but the damage was done.

Kennedy ended up choosing Silicon Valley lawyer Nicole Shanahan as his running mate.

But one of the great “what ifs” of Presidential politics may be what if Robert F. Kennedy Jr. picked Aaron Rodgers as his Vice Presidential nominee.
